Went to this establishment on my lunch break with several of my co-workers, we ordered the oxtails, rice and cabbage. It was terrible! For $15.99, I expected food that tasted a lot better and bigger portions. The rice tasted like it had cinnamon in it, the cabbage was dry and the oxtails were thinly sliced in half. I would not recommend, will stick to Jamaica Way.
I decided to give this locally owned restaurant and I am impressed.The medium heat of the jerk chicken was on point and the mango drink was freshly made.I’m already looking at what to have tomorrow.
Delicious!!! I ordered the Brown Stew Fish with rice cabbage and carrots! And babyyyyyyyyyy, it was RIGHT! EVERYTHING seasoned perfectly! Just delicious.
Love the Caribbean vibe & music! Very nice sitting in the shade with a breeze in the afternoon. Felt like I was a world away! (especially being 1 block away from Broad St & Greene St). GREAT vegetarian options too, with generous portions. Very tasty.Just across from the RCBOE parking complex near the corner of Ellis and James Brown. Newly renovated buildings & area. :-)
This Caribbean spot is amazing!!!! The best in Augusta area.. you can't beat it. The spicy jerky chicken w/garlice green sting beans & mixed dirty mixed rice was awesome.... and I can't forget the vegan chili... laaaaaaaaaaawwwd have mercy!!!! Taste like they got a big mama in the kitchen ? Great food + great service = a happy full belly. They even wrote my name on my food... I felt sooo special ?. If I could eat this everday I would... Thank you for giving us a taste of your world it's great.. continue to cook it up.. because I'm in love???
The food was delicious!?? The best I've had in all of Augusta and the surrounding areas. Trust me its the real deal! Its best to order ahead or atleast anticipate about a 20-25 minite wait as the food is cooked to order. I HIGHLY recommend the Brown stew fish but beware of the bones❗ Can't wait until they open up the dining room but the atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff was very friendly & reminded me of good carribean cooking from back home ?.
I love Pasches! As a downtown business owner, I (including my staff) come here atleast once a week. The customer service is always good and the portions are more than enough for the price you pay. U want delicious food, you gotta pay for it :) and this is definately worth it. My favorite dish i recommend, the jerk chicken, spicy rice and cabbage. So delicious! Excellent service, both salmon and oxtail entree are beyond delicious. Both went well with the rice and gravy and their cabbage was so delicious. I loved the sorrel ginger punch, but the winner is definitely their mango carrot juice.Satisfaction guaranteed!!! ?
Now listen today was the first time experiencing this place and I must say, I wanna slap whoever in that kitchen. The stew fish was absolutely perfect, I felt like I was on a remote island and everybody great-grandmother was combined from the Caribbean and Jamaica was back there just cooking away.
