Food is good but this my second time coming and this time was a bad expirence I call my order in then I get there and he tells me they are out of what I order and they will cook it within a hour so I go back at 3:30 and my food still not ready I had to sit in the hot sun and wait 10 more mins they took $2.00 off the order so instead of 21 I paid 19.43 and my muffin is burnt on the sides and the bottom
The people are nice, but the wait is entirely too long--30 minutes on a Thursday afternoon outside the lunch rush. Definitely call ahead. The food is only so so. I ordered the meatloaf. It clearly has just straight Ragu spaghetti sauce on top of it with no real flavor. The portion sizes is good though.
Very good soul food! I ordered the cube steak and rice and macaroni and cabbage as my two sides. Also ordered a slice of key lime cake. Food portion was very generous, flavor was good, macaroni was really good and I judge places on their macaroni. Key lime cake was very good as well! I would suggest calling your food in before going by, we had never been here before so we ended up walking in and ordering and waited about 40 minutes before our food was ready, they are nice enough to bring it to your car. I will definitely be coming here again, I really want to try their Turkey wings!
On top of the grrreat tasting soooul food, they ALSO have a 10% military discount!!! I just found out about this place last week & MAN am I sooo glad about it! I took one of my daughters here today, & SHE IS sooo glad that I did!!! Do NOT take my word for it... Just check them out for yourself!!!
