The pizza was great, but the restaurant was dirty and I wouldn't want to have eaten inside the restaurant. I'm glad I decided to get my offer takeout before I arrived here. The staff were ok. I wished they could have spoken up when talking to me. It seemed as if they didn't have confidence in themselves. I chose not to take pictures because the issues should be easy fixes and I'm not trying to turn off anyone from the food here. Yes I would offer another pizza from here.
We're regulars at Your Pie, but our North Augusta location was closed for renovation on Monday and Tuesday. Since Mod Pizza is closer to the house and we hadn't tried it yet we figured we'd give it a shot. The facility itself is fine, if not really"nice". The folks we dealt with were nice and the pizzas we ordered were done in a reasonable time and seemed to be cooked well. The problem though is that the pizzas just weren't very good. The crust seems to be the main culprit. It's flavor and texture reminded me of a saltine cracker without the salt. It wasn't offensive, just kind of bland. My wife agreed with my assessment. Not bad otherwise, but not as good as I'd hoped.
Ate there a bit ago, was amazing! I always get their salad and love how everything is custom. They always are so happy and willing to make the weird salad order I ask for, and even joked around with me about it (asked for a lot of cheese… a lot). Nice people, fast service, the building is nice overall and just a sweet environment. I will say getting there can be annoying but it’s definitely worth it!
The staff here is really friendly, and they got through the one pretty quickly. The pizza is made so quickly, and they have so many options for building your own pizza. The restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms.
The person who introduced me to this place was very helpful. She explained the product and process very well. I loved my pizza it was delicious.
We love Mods pizza. Usually love coming here...but the staff has changed recently I believe...this was probably the worst experience I've had anywhere. We stood at the counter a good 10 mins, while they caught up on to go orders I guess, which was fine. But no one looked at us, us greeted us, nothing. When they did, the tall girl had THE worst attitude and was about as rude as a person could be. I had to walk outside while my family finished ordering, it was THAT bad. I was told first thing, that I couldn't get the sauce the way I ALWAYS get it, from Washington state, Charleston, here...never been a problem, then I was snapped at by her for pointing at my pizza where I wanted more topping. My husband was told he couldn't get so many toppings....it was seriously a bad experience. Until staff changes, we won't be back. Too bad because we love the pizza. First review EVER , btw....thats how mad it made us.
Lazy employees. Watched a lady go get a box on top of counter to take pizza home only to be redirected by an employee to boxes behind her. Like it mattered which box she grabbed and what did they expect leaving them in public access. Another customer had to ask one employees to clean table and even our table wasn’t all that clean itself. Top things off when leaving one of the as the nerve to ask me to bring the napkin dispenser back to the front. Apparently the 5-6 employees standing at the front couldn’t do it. Still don’t know why they are not on the table all ready. So of the 5 groups of people I watched come in 3 of them had conflicts with the employees. Not a good place of business and there are far better pizza joints in the area.
I went in here after an extremely rough day (a rough month really) and the staff were so fun and genuinely nice to me that it made my whole day. I’m not joking when I say everyone was so absolutely kind there. Does corporate know about this place because everyone there needs a raise and a bonus and maybe 4 years of paid vacation. Sincerely thank you to everyone there you really made a sad girl smile.Oh yeah really good pizza too.
Pizza is good 5/5Wait time is 5minutes Per pizza.Better than dominos etcBut not better than blaze or pie pizzaBest thing is unlimited amount and number of toppings.Cleanliness is not good enough 3/5.There’s always staff standing free who can just clean the place instead of standing idle!
My family and I live this place. The pizza is terrific, and they have options for any taste. The wait times are short, even when they're busy. The staff is pleasant, and will add more of whichever toppings you want. It makes me wish pizza was a health/weight loss food.
