I've been coming here since the 80s. It's a small town favorite. It's in the hood but the staff is very kind and the food is always good. Every time I come home, I try make it here and it never disappoints. There is no inside dining so get your chicken and go. You'll love it.
Locked the doors at 6pm when sign says they close at 7. Had to wait 45 mins for my food after I paid. All I had was a 3 piece dinner. Horrible customer service skills as well.
Today the cabbage was awful ?. It had either too much vinegar or hot sauce. Everything else was delicious ?
Their food is generally good, but inconsistent.Their "wait outside" policy is very off-putting. Especially with how slow they are in preparing the meals. Takes so long that your drink is probably empty by the time you receive your food, and they won't give refills. They want to charge another $2 to refill the drink.Major turnoff. This place has really sunken, and I hope they pull their head out of their butt soon before they permanently lose my business, as well as the patronage of many others who are also annoyed by this silliness. It will be awhile before I return, I hope they will have fixed their issues in order to stop running customers off by then.On a side-note, they've got some of the best gizzards.
Good food, but never have chicken available when you walk in. Always have to ssit 20-30 minutes for food.
To many times I have came before closing time (at least an hr earlier) and their closed. Good food but their work ethic stinks.
The money i paid for a white meat dinner the chicken wings were so small for $9.00 is a lot of money for those little wings the coleslaw don't cost that much
