At the time we went 4:00, there was plenty of seating, although I found the hibachi seating to be a little cramped...pulling my chair up behind me was with a lot of effort. The service was excellent, as they were not crowded and our waitress was extremely pleasant. Our chef, Nick, was very good at his trade and gave us a show as he cooked. As to our food, salad and soup were standard and I have no complaints. My wife ordered the shrimp and chicken combination with rice. The rice, she found a bit bland, the chicken and shrimp were fine. I ordered the red snapper with shrimp combination... with noodles. The snapper could have been better. I watched Nick go through great pains in cooking it and checking it as it was browning, but it still came out a bit hard...I have had better red snapper. The shrimp, like I said came out fine...and the noodles were excellent. Being it was our 25th anniversary our waitress very pleasantly treated us to fried cheesecake...which was also very tasty. This resturant is worth another try, for sure and some time in the future we will be back.
This was our first time here. The bathroom, dining area, waiting area and parking lot were all clean. Cleanliness was optimal throughout the entire restaurant. The customer service was good. We were greeting promptly, seated quickly, and our drinks stayed full. The food was seasoned extremely well, so it tasted delicious and had very large portion sizes! We both ordered filet mignon and chicken which wa scooped to perfection. And shared a famu sushi roll. The chef put on a great show for us and he was extremely friendly.I recommend this restaurant.
Had a great time our cook was awesome and very entertaining. The wait staff did their thing too keeping our drinks refreshed and promptly removing items, for our space not to be overcrowded by dishes that we had finished. Our cook really had us engaged and it wasn't boring .Went here w/a good friend and her son from Jacksonville and my daughter. I truly Enjoyed catching up with my friend visiting from out of town she really enjoyed the spot I chose for us to have dinner. Great gathering place for family and friends Thanx Koi.If you haven't tried them you should they seem to accommodate for any occasions. We even help sing happy birthday to a young man across the way.
Food was great! Very fancy looking inside and the Lobzilla roll was amazing! For such great food such reasonable prices. The waitress was very attentive and they have great variety! Definitely would recommend!
I went to kio had a horrible experience with Joann our waitress. I believe she doesn’t like serving large black groups. She had a horrible attitude. I hope this doesn’t happen again when I come back next month.
It was the best japanese I have had in this area. the food was great and well portioned compared to some of their competition. My only gripe is the reservation call doesn't seem to matter much as 2 different family walk ins got seats before us. We arrived 5 minutes early but still waited 15 minutes.

This place is outstanding. Staff is absolutely amazing. From my engagement dinner to my daughter’s 18th birthday they were able to accommodate the size of our party and make everything amazing… let’s not forget the food was delicious. I never leave disappointed.
The best service I've had in Augusta. The food was excellent, fast to come out, and amazing value for what we got.
This place is outstanding. Best Japanese style steak house in the area imo.
