Baby when I tell you this is some of the best Jamaican food I have ever had! I was in town just getting some “me time” and I was craving Jamaican food! They did not disappoint! I will be back when I’m in town!
I love there jerk chicken ,curry shrimp! Make sure u call about 30 mins before u go there because there slow but the food is good and hot!?!?
Delicious food! I really enjoyed my Jerk chicken. The cabbage is cooked with bell peppers and tastes great.
I order the oxtail dinner with plantains ( sweet and really good) side of macaroni. The oxtail was very tender but( Salty). My next meal I order was Goat with rice and cabbage as the oxtail very tender but again very salty. Now the jerk chicken was amazing and season Appropriately. For the cost the Portions was appropriately given.Over all I would order again hopefully it want be as salty.
Out of all Jamaican resturant I've been to I would say this one is the worst ever. I wanted a small order of oxtail and jerk chicken and was told they only serve small before 3pm. It was a but understand but still not fair. So I order a large which left me no other options, the portions are DEFINITELY not a large. The quality of the food DEFINITELY not worth $18. Jerk chicken are not suppose to be sweet and oxtail are not suppose to look like curry nor it doesn't taste like oxtail. You guys need to get your Jamaican tradition together. It's my first and DEFINITELY my last time at your restaurant. I'm from NY where I know how oxtail and jerk chicken suppose to taste. Your resurant really let me down. Good luck.
I have not had a JA pattie in years. I was not fond of the flavor. But this is not to say it was bad. I am just accustomed to a different flavor. I will try some of there other foods. Then I can give a different review.
My family is part Jamaican so I am familiar with the authentic taste of yaad food. I ordered a veggie plate as usual. Took 45 mins to get that 1 plate and they always put a second Mac and cheese instead of plantains like I ask lol. Good food though, but not as good as Brooklyn NY Jamaican spots
Person taking order stated that the chicken is cut into small pieces in the brown stew chicken. This is the way I wanted and expected it to be served. However when it was served there were only whole chicken parts. Asked for a refund but they refused to refund. Do not go here unless you are willing to lose money.
