We have gotten the catfish, oysters and shrimp on three different occasions. Excellent!!! The portions are generous, always so hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly.
Excellent customer service, and the food was delicious! I will definitely be returning.I'm not sure why there is complaints on the seasoning, my food was seasoned very well.Also, the reviews regarding the bread being under the food, that is done to absorb any grease from fried foods so your food doesn't sit in it. Perhaps that's just a culture knowledge thing.
Nice family, GREAT FOOD, especially like the fried catfish. Would love to see this business update interior and remove the old churchs chicken sign.
The staff were nice. The drive-through is a little tricky with a truck. That's not a negative, just be aware when you visit. Another not-negative to be aware of, it is not fast food. It is cooked fresh, so expect to wait just a little bit. I ordered the catfish filet plate. There was plenty of food, good sized portions of fish and fries. The breading was absolutely perfect - great taste and consistency. The fish was piping hot, fresh cooked. The fillet came out done, but mushy. Properly cooked, it should be flaky. I could not eat more than half of a filet. I will wait a while and try them once more just because everything else really was positive. I will amend my review accordingly.
This place was absolutely garbage they served our food over soggy white bread.... The food was overly greasy and just not very good the fish was bland the shrimp overcooked and rubbery. Will not be revisiting.
don't do it not even once. I just tried this place for the first time today. I was very hopeful. my shrimp was completely overcooked and like rubber, the fish was extremely dry. the fries tasted like something but not fries, perhaps the grease was old. but I knew not to have high expectations as soon as I opened the play and saw that the food was served on top of slices of white bread that were soggy from absorbing the moisture and heat. just spent over $50 to feed my family and it was absolutely disgusting.
