This is my favorite Korean spot in Augusta! Don't let the reviews fool you! The owner is super sweet but there is a language barrier. Authentic delicious food and totally worth it! Everything came out in a timely manner. Very clean inside too!
The food was delicious and very obviously homemade and fresh. The owner was nice and was joking around with us, I don't know where people are getting she is rude from. Lovely experience!
Great Korean BBQ! The short ribs are the best! Highly recommended!
The food is okay, but the lady operating the phone is just rude. Like, I'm 100% in favor of having an authentic experience, but she's straight mean. She's the only reason I stopped going there.
So we went to this place for the first time and ate inside. The lady that runs this place is so rude, she doesn't care what comes out her mouth, she acted like she didn't like what me and my daughter ordered. My daughter asked for chicken fried rice and she told her we don't have any chicken, that the chicken is bad. We didn't eat all our food and she said you don't like the food? Got a attitude and walked away. She also said you only have one hour till closing. So pretty much I don't care how good you're foot is, your attitude is stank and I'm not going back.
The owner is very rude. I wanted to try their restaurant for the first time but arrived after they closed and happened to park and begin walking to the door and two Korean women were outside looking and yelled we are closed. Her tone was rude and she lacked the curtesy to say, hello, ma’me, we are closed, this is our office hour. I realized after she yelled at me that she was the owner. I will not even give her restaurant a try. Does she not realize that her customers is the reason she has a running business —she needs humility and love.
Very clean and tasty authentic Korean food. The ladies on the staff are kind and polite.
When we decided that we wanted to have Korean food on a Monday this was the only restaurant in Augusta that was open. I’m glad that it was or we might not have ever tried it and the food was wonderfully delicious.I had the Bibimbap—soooo good! And my friends all had Bulgogi and they all commented on how good the flavor was. And, guys, I judge Korean restaurants on their cabbage kimchi flavor—and it was good. The staff were very kind—we came in about 45 minutes from closing and they allowed us to finish eating without feeling rushed (even though we left 10 minutes after they closed for the night). The Golden Garden Restaurant was a great find!
Way overpriced. Grumpy employees. Food below average.
I used to frequent here many years ago till one day I ordered la garbi but they bring regular bulgogi, I told them that was not la garbi but they argue it was, la garbi has bone and regular garbi only has meat and no bones, so I stopped going there until recently, I decided to give them another try, so past 6 weeks I been ordering from them weekly, I tried to order again today and they last that was taking the order was very rude, so I canceled the order and went to happy house.
