We have been to frog hollow many times and it is my #1 go to for special occasions. My husband and I had an amazing time and there is not any other place that I would have chosen to celebrate my birthday! The staff was wonderful and the food & drinks were outstanding! Thank you frog hollow for an amazing evening!

We had a great meal, but we were disappointed that their famous Mac & cheese are not on the menu along with several other of our favorites.
It was great! They recognized that it was our anniversary and had personalized cards printed up with Happy Anniversary on them. Made us feel very special. Fritz our waiter was great! Thanks for Making our anniversary special!
The food is actually superb. But the owner has decided to eliminate the Mac and Cheese - which is the only reason we go there. You can get great food and service around town at a number of restaurants but you cannot get the great M&C. No reason to go there again - or recommend it to anyone else. The magic is gone.

Excellent experience for our 15th Anniversary! While our short wait for our table to be ready we were able to order drinks. The Peach cocktail was great! When we were seated our menus had Happy Anniversary cards for us. It was a very nice touch and when anyone came to our table they wished us a happy Anniversary. We did a small plate of Quail with a side or risotto. It was so good it was gone before we even thought to take a picture. The shrimp and grits and the butchers steak with fries were delicious. We will definitely be going back!
My wife and I have been here 3-4 times and itâs always an amazing experience. The food is the absolute best to be had in the Augusta area. Whether you get a standard menu option or one of their specials. Ingredients are locally sourced which promotes small business as well. I had the butcher steak and fries which was cooked to a perfect medium rare with a slight outer crust. Comes with an amazing sauce that compliments the rich beef flavor and is also good for dipping the accompanying fries. Which brings me to my last comment. FRENCH FRIES! These are the best fries Iâve ever had. So simple yet so good and they give you a tremendously massive amount which is plenty if your date canât stop picking from your plate. My wife had the crab cake with risotto which was just as amazing and plentiful. The crab cake was 95% crab meat so you get plenty to eat as well as the massive bed of creamy risotto. Not to mention their great drink menu of wine, spirits, cocktails, and beer. Frog Hollow Tavern is definitely an experience youâll enjoy and wont forget.
Frog Hollow has always been one of our favorite restaurants in Augusta. We usually visit for our birthday dinners. We were a bit disappointed to find out that they discontinued serving their famous smoked gouda mac and cheese on our last visit. That dish was one of the main reasons why we love the place so much. Hope they bring it back soon.
