I've passed this place many times as I walk along the promenade by the river. I finally decided to stop in one beautiful evening in Augusta. The patio was about half full when I got there at 6:30. Be sure to go inside to request a table on the patio. The menu is extensive and includes all of the typical choices you have at Mexican restaurants just about anywhere in America. I chose chicken fajitas and an upgraded margherita. Service was not fast.. but it was a nice night so I didn't mind. The drink was served in a plastic cup which meant the rim salt was pretty much gone when I picked up the cup. The flavor was surprisingly not good. I waited about 20 minutes for my dinner. It was served on a hot sizzling skillet... just as you would expect. The serving was generous but unfortunately had no flavor. The chicken was bland and the peppers, etc. were definitely overcooked. The flour tortillas were warm but also lacking in flavor. BTW, as is typical, you get 3 tortillas but you can get more if you ask...but there is an extra charge. It took awhile to get the check. Note that you may be charged a 3% service fee for using a credit card. The place did fill up by the time I left and others seemed to be enjoying their meals. I was disappointed but that doesn't mean you will be. Give El Presidente a shot if you are in the area.

We waited for 5 minutes before being acknowledged.athe hostess was not polite at all. Several people passed by. Once seated, it took 10 minutes before a server came. Our food took a long time and then the server never came back. No drink refills or nothing. We had to ask for someone only to see the server was seated a few tables away. The manager tried to compensate our complaint with to go drinks. We most definitely will not be back

It was very.loud music n so smokey for some reason I guess everybody was getting flairing hot fajitas only think that can explain the smoke. Looks like teenagers working there that dont understand what is being asked because how hard is to bring napkins both was said in English n second time in Mexican. Someone said they think they the owners kids I dont know though. It was totally different when it was called something else. I don't know maybe we just came on a wrong night. They use to have great karaoke night in the days.

We’ve been regular customers, until today. Service charges added in additional to tip and that’s just the beginning. They’re not friendly to customers and make it difficult to even get a table. Not worth the hassle. The place has gone downhill!

Was nasty. The beef is not seasoned nor does it taste like beef. The shrimp quesadillas are very lackluster and it’s just a hard tortilla with 2 shrimp and barely cheese.

The queso was the best thing here, the rest was alright, but you have to be as specific as possible ordering, or you might not get what you want. Asked for shredded chicken enchiladas with white sauce and they brought it, but it was white sauce under the enchiladas and red sauce on top.

Went there on a cold Saturday afternoon. Not a lot of folks probably know about this place, but they should. Food was great with great flavor. Waiters were quick and pretty cool. Would recommend. You can go straight to the Riverwalk when done eating.

The food was top-notch. The staff was friendly and efficient. It was a great meal.

My first time here for a lunch date.Pretty decent spot. Food was good. I enjoyed it.

Not bad, I got to go about two weeks ago and got the same thing dining in this week. The to go was much better. Little expensive for Mexican food.
