Club velvet is the club to go..It's for a Mature crowd. The Dj plays the best music ? The club owner is awesome and treats people with respect..I drive from out of town...$10.00 cover charge..Now , the only complaint I have is the Food truck that comes and takes advantage of intoxicated club goers, me included..The bread is cheap and hard, the pork chops was beyond salty and Hard a$$ hell..I couldn't even chew it..The salty mac& cheese was super salty...This isn't the first time , the food truck people with the grill, has made nasty , hard tasting food..It's also served cold ..They also don't wear gloves, while serving there nasty , salty tasting food...Usually when you're drunk anything taste good Lol!! Nope!! Stop taking advantage of paying customers and stop making nasty , hard to eat food...You have a better chance, going home to eat...Also they keep changing their prices, to see if us people going to pay it..$15.00 just for a hard pork chop and mac...But another person, charged $10.00 ...I will never support the food truck...Just have fun at the club
I and my husband are new to the Augusta area, we never go out clubbing because of crowds but let me tell you!!!!! Last night OMG!!!!! I had a BLAST!!!! The DJ was Rocking all my old school jams. I felt like I was in my late 20’s and 30’s again. The environment was a mature, drama free for GROWN FOLKS!!!!! I danced and danced the night away. I had been years since I went to a Club. The security was on point making it safe for everyone. The waitresses were nice, friendly and polite. They had my drink “Deleon”. I would suggest getting Guinness Draught. Other than that for the night I had, I’d give 10 stars if I could. I and my hubby will be back. Thank You VELVET for making our first experience out on the town our Best!!!

I c the boss every Thursday I go. That's grown folks night. Drinks are kinda high but I like the atmosphere. Don't have to worry about being shot or jumped on
The place seems nice however, I don't have the cash to pay for the cover charge to get in. I would think since they have a group of people selling BBQ that have a CASH APP. Why can't inside the club Velvet have a CASH APP or an ATM for people who don't have cash on them.
