Michael P. was the most superb server I've ever experienced. This was my first visit to Bonefish Grill and Michael made excellent suggestions. He described the dishes with such intensity and love.. I mean Food Network -like descriptions!!!! Michael P is superb and I'll definitely be back to see him and enjoy some of the other decadent dishes and wine pairings he suggested. I am ready for more magic in my mouth!!!
Amazing place! The first time we ever ate here? Top notch, wish i could of tried everything. We were there for our anniversary! Thought the cake would of been complimentary but it was worth it. The filet was cooked perfectly and so tender. The bacon mac and cheese wasn't what I expected. They had butter for my steak which if you have never tried I recommend.
Food was terrible. My husband ordered the grouper special with two sides for twenty seven dollars. Which I thought was a fair price ifor a meal. When they bought the grouper out and it was the size of a two piece chicken nuggets McDonald's happy meal. I thought I was at McDonald's. I'm thinking this can't be a regular, although the place wasn't crowded it was steady, food has to be a better quality. The chef should have been ashamed to send such mess out to a customer.. my husband and I thought we had found a nice place for our date days or nights. First time and last time . Shame just shame. I wanted to say something to the staff but I wasn't in a good state of mind because of the food and it would have been very ugly. So choose to be polite knowing this was the last time for us.again shame just shame.the waitress didn't wait for us to taste the food before she bought the tickets like she knew I was going to say something about the food. Shame just shame.
Went to Bonefish last night for the first time ever. Pleasantly surprised! Enjoyed everything about our visit. Made a reservation online and we were seated immediately. The waitress Idella was so friendly and helpful. The drinks and food were delicious! We enjoyed the crab fries, sirloin steak, mahi mahi with imperial sauce, and pomegranate and pineapple martinis. It was a crowded Friday night and the food still came out in a decent amount of time. We can’t wait to come back!
Food was excellent. I ordered mussels and had to ask for a cocktail fork. I was told cocktail forks aren't given anymore because they kept getting thrown in the trash. NOT my problem. Eating mussels with a dinner fork is not an option. The fact that there are no cocktail forks because of employee incompetence is not my issue.
The food was amazing, tasty, and high-quality! I will definitely return.
attentive bar staff and great calamari
The rush was over when we arrived at 7pm, but it seemed that our waitress was running around at a mad pace throughout our entire meal. She was new, and not just to Bonefish but new to the waiting tables. She was working very hard to please us, however her training was lacking, and that was not her fault. She was taught to make sure the cork doesn't "pop" when opening a bottle of wine... it was etiquette. Yet no one taught her not to reach in front of a patron's face and stick her fingers in the wine glasses at the end of the meal to remove them. Not her fault; how to clear a table, when to remove the last dishes and so forth should have been part of her training. And I shouldn't have to be writing this, but it affected our meal. We were talking about how hard she was working, and why no one would help her or guide her. It seemed like she was near panic... and i was the one cared? Her colleagues and supervisors did not? Now.. onto the food. Good news: entrees were wonderful. We had the butterfish special and the shrimp/scampi pasta. Tuna sashimi appetizer delightful. The caesar salad that I loved prepandemic... not so much. It was not the same dressing at all which had been so memorable I would have gone to the restaurant just for that. Now it's no different than a caesar one might get a roadhouse chain. I don't know why they changed the recipe, but it was not a good decision. And we ended with coffee. Warm. Barely. One regular, one decaf, and worse, one expresso which by definition should be made fresh to order. Nope. Sorry Bonefish, won't be back. Please train your staff, or at least pitch in when you see them running around frantically. No don't fire, teach. i would also suggest that Bonefish have some guidance to families such as "no reservations after 6pm wit children under age 10" or something similar. . There was a lot of crying from a couple of different tables, and our booth was being kicked by a child on the other side of the wall between the bar and restaurant.
Great food and service by Idella.
The Food was Absolutely Delicious! Blueberry Lemon Drop Cosmos—the BEST!!!
