Nice staff, however place would benefit from some updates. Food was good had a tasty salmon dish. Server aimed to please. Ample seating available but still had to wait to be seated it wasn't too long I just think they could improve upon that
Went there tonight and was toldAt the door It would be a 25 minute wait! Didn’t even take us 5 minutes to be seated! Waitress comes to the table and tells us she will be right with us! 15 minutes later she comes back and takes our order! We asked her if we will get our drinks before our food and she said yes you will! 15 minutes later no drinks! The table beside us that came in after us got there food before us and got waters before we got anything to drink! Worst experience ever won’t be back! Was told that some food comes out before other food it just depends on what you order! We ordered the prime rib sandwich and 2 orders of buffalo chicken wings as appetizers! We couldn’t even get our appetizers on time! Worst Applebees ever! Manager was rude too! Acted like she didn’t care! Said we are busy! Not even 15 tables being used in the restaurant!
Since it’s one of the only nice places to eat in South Augusta it’s worth the price not to have to drive across town. Great workers! Always happy to serve you even in To Go.
I give this five stars of the service alone. Asia was our server and she didn't miss a beat and she had a great attitude to go along with a great work ethic. Our food was great and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Pictures will be added along with this review. The music was also fitting for the atmosphere. The only thing we didn't like was the HVAC system had it warmer than we would have liked, but it wasn't warm enough to take away from the great service drinks, and food.
Service was really good. My server was training and able to balance that with professionalism and courtesy. She didn’t miss a beat. Ask for Licia, you won’t be disappointed. #applebees
Went in for a business lunch and our waitress was so nice and bubbly and worked very hard to make sure we were happy. The epitome of excellent customer service. I only wish I could remember what her name was!! Not to mention I had the spinach chicken Alfredo bowl. Delicious!!
First of all, the temperature in the restaurant was uncomfortable. It was hot, My daughters cheeks were red. The server didn't ask how I wanted my meat cooked, didn't really say much of anything and made me feel awkward. The food was terrible. My sprite was flat so I swapped it for sweet tea that wasn't sweet. My kids mashed potatoes were cols. The fries were bland. It was just awful I had a terrible experience and will never go back to this place. I wasted 50 dollars.
I have not been satisfied with my last few orders. It’s seems like they don’t take the type of care of the outgoing orders as they do the dine in. At first I thought it was just that day my food was below standard. Like, maybe because of Covid, they had less staff which made it hard to strive for excellence. After 2 additional below standard orders I feel like they know you won’t see your food until you get it home. So you get what you get and you can’t complain or send it back. My last order was literally thrown together. It was really less food, poor quality for the same money. I won’t be getting take out again.
It wasn't very busy and thre food was hot and good but service was bad. It took 25 min to get our appetizer. Our waitress never checked on us or refilled our drinks. I asked for a strawberry margarita that she never brought. I had to ask the host to find her to get our check. I would understand if she had a full section but there were 4 tables including mine in her section with 2 people per table. It took approximately 1hr and 45 min from the time we sat down until we left
Placed my order on the app for curbside pickup and my order was ready in a timely manner and my order was just as I placed it. Each time I've ordered through the app, I've had no issues at all. Kudos to Applebee's Grill and Bar for such a great job and service.
