This place is a breeding ground for racism. I know to many who benefit from this behavior this comment is trivial but to the well groomed/nurtured humans, warning. I am so takened back by the experience that I am scrambling to put it into words. If being honest it's an indescribable feeling. The part that is most disturbing is my kids witnessed and understood the situation so much so that they said mom let's just leave. Public notice: your skin tone in no way makes me/us inferior to you nor excuse your ignorance. Thank God that He alone is best at leveling the playing field. May God heal your hating heart at some point on your journey through Earth so that you will be able to experience true living at some point. Never should you as an establishment ever condone such behavior among your employees or circle of life. Shout out to the patron that left his meal to check on my family and I as I stood outside in shock at what had just occured. Even offering to pay for our meal but I refuse to allow my babies to see me support an organization financially who's definitely comfortable with not being good humans. Pat on my back (girl you sure have matured) for staying true to the character of my God by not responding with the hate that was given but grace. Ignorance you got no glory tonight. To Ted's we go with our heads lifted high. Goodnight. It's so much more easier to walk in love and equality than hate and division. Believe it or not we(mankind) are better together.
Good atmosphere. Cool location. Been here twice. Salads very good. Pizza not great. Thin crust tastes pretty-made. No chewiness. No olive oil brush on margherita pizza dough. Like toppings placed on a saltine cracker. If they improve their crust I think they will be a great pizza spot.
Our favorite Westside pizza. Always the best staff. Plenty of vegetarian options. The 18” is plenty for three. Thin crust. Great Greek salad, fresh dressing. The new location is easy to pick up and go. Plenty of parking.
Pizza is great! Unfortunately there was an older Caucasian employee who did not greet me and when I spoke to him he didn't look at me at all. I had called before arriving and spoke with a very bubbly individual so I was shocked that my experience did not match. I later realized he was not the individual over the phone who later came out with a warm welcome. The older rude employee gave a whole DIFFERENT energy when speaking with an elderly Caucasian woman. I NEVER write reviews but I was so disgusted with this employee that I needed to share. Again GREAT pizza.
Terrible service. When we walked in, we sat at a table and it wasn’t clean. We asked the waitress when she took our drink order if she wouldn’t mind wiping it down and she acted like that was a totally unreasonable thing to ask. Then, we went to order and I have a gluten allergy and she said said they were out of the gluten free crust and I said I needed a minute. Then she suggested we try their pasta, and I asked it was gluten free and said oh, no. So we looked at the menu again and decided to just leave since my only option was salad and at this point we just didn’t feel welcome. When she came back we asked for the check and she goes, oh was there something wrong? And I was like, I have a gluten allergy… it was so uncomfortable and I just don’t understand why she treated us that way. Would not go back.
The pizza and cocktail was excellent. The service really left something to be desired. John greeted me and was my bartender, he made a top-notch old fashioned. Unfortunately after the server, I don't remember her name, took my order and delivered my pizza, she never came to the table again.I was the only customer, she was busy chatting with the bartender that relieved John. It was really disappointing, I really wanted another cocktail - or even a glass of water. But again, the pizza and cocktail was great! I'll try again.
I'm a regular here and am usually pleased with my food but this wasn't the case with my most recent experience. I discovered these green balls in my lasagna! ? Could it be molded meat? I called the manager to discuss and notify encouraging him to check the food and also to be on alert that others may be affected. The manager didn't seem very concerned saying "the green in the lasagna is basil". I asked for his cell phone and sent the pics of my food and the receipt. Clearly this isn't basil. That said, I'm saddened that my weekly visits here won't continue.
Best pizza I’ve had in a while ? I’ve been searching for a go to spot and this is it
So disappointing. The crust has no flavor. The cheese is rubbery. I could go on and on. But to keep it short and sweet, I’ll just say I have enjoyed frozen pizza far more than the pizza we ate from Westside. Very upsetting quality for a “pizzeria.”
I really enjoyed my meal and service. The pizza was excellent.
