This place is no joke. Driving through to Florida from Ohio we stopped and got 4 meals and 3 desserts. It was $74 but oh my word, the flavor of this food was outstanding! My kids have never had soul food and this was the BEST first experience they could have ever had.
Gosh dang this was good! I love finding the hole in the wall places like this. Everything is cooked in house. No frozen pre made stuff here. Only fresh home cooking to please your hunger.
Great food! My picky daughter ate everything in her meal and some of my collard greens. She had wings, corn, rice, cornbread. I had corn, greens, baked chicken. The Mr. Had Mac n cheese, yams, and ribs. All was great.
This place is truly not the same from the original owner. The food is watered down, staff not friendly. Equipment leaking water on the floor, the inside seating area closed ND look bad. It do not feel like Mr. Walter Soul Food.
Best food I've had in a super long time! ? just didn't have any cake or Peach cobbler but I didn't care. Give all my love to the cook(s). They truly know and understand the way to my heart....
My first visit to the restaurant. I ordered the Oxtails which was $29.99 (I will not do that again). While they did taste good they could have been cooked longer to be a little more tender. For that price they really should have melted in my mouth and the meat should have fallen off the bones. A little too tough.
the customer service is awful. I walked in with my service dog and they kicked me out. They said I was not allowed to have my service dog in there because it’s unsanitary. She let me stay if I put the dog on the floor, but then went and got a manager or owner to then proceed to kick me out. Since she wants to speak on the dog & I being unsanitary she then stuck her fingers in her mouth and started touching plates & serving utensils with her dirty hand. Someone please get the health department there now!!!
Would never come here again. I came with a couple of friends and my service dog which is hypoallergenic and only 10 pounds, soon as I walk in this lady basically starts coming at me disrespectful, denies me service because of my service dog and as I walk out she continues to make disrespectful commentary about how unsanitary it is and then thinks it’s ok to lick her hand while packaging a to go order using no gloves nor washing her hands.

Delicious! We had the fried pork chop dinner and Turkey Wings.. Both delicious. The sides were good too.. Mac and cheese, greens and dressing..Customer service was great.The lady plating the meat was nice but she had her mask pulled down below her mouth. However, the lady providing the sides and at check out wore her mask properly.Like I said overall food was tasty and good customer service. Definitely recommend.
