Food was decent! Liked the spam appetizer and the chicken katsu. Cool place to try Hawaiian food if you have never had it before!
We enjoyed everything that we ordered here! Spam musubi was delicious, and the house fried rice was huge in portion! The lunch special also really can't be beat - great bang for your buck. Will definitely be returning!
Waikikie Hawaiian BBQ have very good, authentic Hawaiian food. I was surprised to run into a Hawaiian restaurant this great in Atlanta. The staff are friendly and the chicken dishes and mac salad are really excellent. They're still only doing takeout, but I hope they'll open the dining room again soon.
Good food, outdoor seating only at this time. Would recommend!
My husband and I tried this for the first time tonight and we weren't disappointed. I only had a couple of recommendations...put the cabbage to the side instead of using it as a bed for the meat entrée and remove the tail from the shrimp. Otherwise, everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The macaroni salad was a different choice for the entrée side but a nice touch.
tasty lunch specials and very friendly owners. I like their teriaki lunch, and the spam musubi is very authentic and reasonably priced. The inside is nice when open and occassionally had live music
I've been eating here for over 9 years. When we lived in the ATL, we visited at least once a month. Now every time we drive though the city, it's the place we have to stop and eat at. After growing up in Hawaii it's the closest to home I ever tasted. The food is pretty authentic and fills this gal with warm memories. I dream about the Mac salad. I don't think I've disliked a single item from their menu. Do yourself a favor if you can't afford the ticket to Hawaii just eat here then go to Piedmont park and sun yourself. You will get the same happy feelings for about 2% of the price.
My go-to place when I am in the mood for quick Hawaiian comfort food. I simply call in my order and run by to pick up. They have set up their patio area for pick up and payment while they keep their dining room closed. Friendly staff. They have all the classic plate lunch selections and then some.
No dine in. Order ahead or to go only.Super duper tasty! Took two orders to go. Spicy chicken and spicy teriyaki chicken. Both came with two scoops rice and an AWESOME macaroni salad, which normally isn't really my thing. But it was all super tasty. The woman who took my order was super friendly and masked, which I always appreciate. Definitely worth a try!!
Got the Waikikie combo. And it was worth the price
