This restaurant is amazing. First we were great by their amazing staff who sat us promptly and took our orders. Food came out quick and it was very fresh and delicious! It's been hard to find something nearly as good since being in Japan, but this really hit the spot! I'd highly recommend coming early (we came as soon as they opened.) Because they fill up very quickly.
Was great! First time here and we will be back.
Usually when I go to restaurants with ramen that is what I get but this time I got the eel dish and it was delicious. We got sushi and my favorite was the Green Typhoon. Would definitely come here again.
Wide selection of plates. Specialty rolls are really good. The Unagi rice is the best! The tonkatsu is okay. I have to say: the dine in experience is super different from the takeout. I was first disappointed by the takeout but amazed by my second dine in experience
If you love japanese food, and you love anime music.... If you aren't eating here or at Ginya Izakaya, you're making a mistake.Everything on the menu is fantastic. Sake choices could be a bit better, but there's enough variety to find something you like.
Incredible! Loved the ramen! Nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. Highly recommend trying the food here.
Five stars for real teishoku-style meals being available in Atlanta. The value, freshness and attention to detail are all there. A wonderful place for lunch or relaxing after work with a few drinks.I ordered my ramen omori/with extra noodles and received so many I didn’t have much broth. Hopefully this was a one-time thing, but it’s something I hope will be improved upon, since it is a Japanese-owned restaurant.
Pretty good udon noodles and atmosphere is great.
Some of the best and most authentic Japanese food I’ve had stateside. Iconic lunch and dinner sets with really well prepared pieces. The udon broth tastes just like what I’ve had in Japan, which made me so happy to have here in Atlanta! They have an incredible canned and bottled beer selection, the Sorry IPA is unique and delicious.Sushi and appetizers are also incredible. Smoked salmon, toro, and tons of other nigiri, sashimi, or rolls to choose from. There are also tons of izakaya staples here and some unique harder to find dishes. It’s a great bar style atmosphere and there’s a small parking lot in the back. Really friendly service too. This spot is an absolute gem!
The wood smoked sushi is probably the most unique sushi I’ve tried and Wagaya blew us away with it!The place is small and there’s limited parking, however the sushi here is excellent, in particular the top line sashimi. They also serve a variety of sakes and Japanese beers to wash down the excellent sushi. Overall really good prices too!Give this place a short if you’re on the west end side of Atlanta - there is parking near spice house just a block down the road or right behind wagaya.
