Josh & Twon always work hard to continue the legacy of “Aunties” as we all have grown to call them! Looking forward to the continued longevity of this iconic staple!
First time trying this today, I got the salmon plate and it did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly and I enjoyed my short time there!!
So glad they're open and running. I been eating here since my 1st child who's now 16!!!! It's like eating in your grandma's kitchen. Nothing is perfect however this restaurant is dangerously close!!!!!! I've never had a bad experience. Josh is doing a wonderful job transitioning since mama retired!!! This is for those who can remember Deacon Burton's in Inman Park all over again.. Chicken, pork chops, fish, steak and gravy and salmon for breakfast. Traditional bacon and sausage too. Awesome food and hole in the wall atmosphere. A friendly family owned "cash only" outstanding place to get breakfast. Again it's cash only and open from 4 am to 11am. Carry out only. Don't miss it.
Salmon patties where good when I first started going here but last visit it wasn't enough salmon very disappointed.
I got to Atlanta early the morning of 02-05-22 to join a thrifting group for an event. It was FREEZING that morning! This restaurant was one of the few open really early. I took a ride there to get something hot to eat to help me thaw out.The club next door was still going strong when I got there; it was a little after 5:30 am when I got my order. I ordered the salmon biscuit and a cup of coffee. I don't eat a lot of bread, but that biscuit & the salmon was so on point! Probably tasted better because it was so cold. There wasn't any cream near the condiments for my coffee. One of the men brought some milk for me to use.I didn't realize this was take out only. 3 or 4 customers came in behind me. It didn't take long for my order to be done. I had my food & had to wait for another driver to pick me up. They didn't rush me out & I really appreciate it! I don't live in the area, but I'd definitely come back the next time I'm there to either try something else from the menu or get another salmon biscuit. Places like this is why I try my best to support Black businesses.
If you want REAL homemade breakfast made from pure love Unity Restaurant is where you will find it. This food is so good I can't leave the parking lot without eating. The biscuits are amazing. They have melted butter on top and they have that good ole THICK country syrup that you GOTTA sop your biscuits with. I tried the salmon today and it was perfect.The food always bring back memories because this is the ONLY place that cooks like my mom and grandma.
