This is by far the WORSE tropical smoothie I have ever been to and I actually love other tropical smoothie locations.First off, when entering the restaurant there were employees sitting down on their phones and one girl who was pregnant taking orders while being on her phone. Next, there was two feminine gentlemen who were EXTREMELY rude and slow with getting the orders out. I order a Lil Limeberry & a chicken quesadilla at 12:22pm and it did not come out until 12:45pm. Finally, after receiving my order. The food was EXTREMELY poor quality. First off the chicken quesadilla came looking like they crumbled it up in the box. The chicken tasted old inside of the quesadilla and my smoothie was melted down tasting like a juicy juice. After going back in to see if they could remake the order over the heavy set feminine gentlemen was extremely rude. Saying that I would have to pay for the order over againI will NEVER come to this tropical smoothie again. The service is extremely unprofessional, the quality of the food is not good and they are extremely SLOW and also it is extremely HOT inside of the this location.
My smoothie was great! I ordered the chicken Caesar salad and my lettuce was welted!!!!! The chicken was too hot and welted my lettuce. I started eating my salad as soon as I got in the car so it was only 5 minutes after it was made! I've got salads before from tropical smoothie but at a different location and never had that problem!Also they were super busy and it was hottttt!!! I guess their air was out! That was very uncomfortable and I felt bad for the people working there. Hire more staff and fix the air!
This place is a joke! Super unprofessional!! I arrive to a restaurant where an employee is sitting down watching whatever it is on her cellphone. DOOR IS LOCKED DURING BUSINESS HOURS at that!!! Had the audacity to say she’s the only one there and waiting for others. Tropical smoothie, its time to just pack it up and shut down all your stores!!! I’m so tired of the ghettoness in your stores.
I ordered a green detox smoothie, Buffalo chicken wrap, and sweet potatoes. When we arrived to pick it up they were not only out of the potatoes but then also out of every flavor chip except sea salt. My smoothie also did not taste like the regular green detox. The wrap was not cut in half, barely had any hot sauce and was just not good.
Horrible … my order was completely messed up. I had to go up there to get a replacement. I watched a man prepare my sandwich and skip past the knife in the pesto and instead use his gloved hand to speared the pesto on my sandwich.Needless to say this ordeal was on my lunch break so I threw the entire sandwich away. I am in the process of getting a refund for my order.I will not be visiting the establishment ever again
Not sure why people said this location didn't exist...it's definitely here AND open. Not many Tropical Smoothies have almonds to add so I was happy they did! I added photos from anyone that was wondering where it was
This was the first time at this location and it took us 30 minutes to find this place. The picture of the building shows that it is next to a Great Clips which it is definitely not It is across the street in a completely different complex. The number to call is incorrect and the address online takes you to an Embassy Suites. When we finally found this location we told the entire staff working about the difficulties of finding this spot and they all said, "that is a management problem, not ours." We will never be coming back to this location because of how rude and unprofessional they were when we were just trying to inform them that it was extremely difficult to find this location. They all seemed very unbothered. The smoothies were not even that good. I give this place a 1 out of 5 stars. Hopefully they fix the number and are nicer for future customers.
The reason for the reduction in stars: the service was below average. The staff that took my order seemed sad. She did not greet me and did not even ask me what I wanted. I had to ask her if it was ok to place my order with her, just to be certain that it was her responsibility to take orders. I opted for the Caribbean jerk wrap. All wraps come with a side. Typically the side options include chips, kale apple salad, an Apple or banana. The staff told me that they did not have any chips in stock. I was shocked by this statement. They typically have at least 4 different flavored chips. I opted for the kale salad, Which is pretty tasty!In addition to the service being poor. It took a good solid 30 minutes for this order to be ready. I honestly don't even know why. They had like 5 people working but it looked like everyone was working in slow motion with no sense of urgency.The restaurant was also not clean. There was trash scattered on the floor in various places. I don't understand this issue given the number of staff that were on the clock. I don't know if the store did not have an active manager during my visit, but it appeared that the staff just did not know what to do to keep the place running efficiently.Last, but not least of my complaints, the kale salad came in a small container that they put Saran Wrap on. This should have come with a lid. They also shorted me on the kale salad. It was like a kids size. It was two small bites!!! I was so disappointed.To be clear, I have frequented other locations of the cafe and had great experiences. I am going to write this poor experience off to it being new.
Today was my second time at this location. So happy it is now open. Both times I had no issue with my order. My smoothies were delicious and the wrap I had was yummy!
This is ridiculous. I drove all around the parking lot only to find out that when you call this location the number is for cabinets. How unprofessional. Change your number and or change your address. It should not be be a process to find this location. Not happy. Took me 30 minutes to find. Staff was also super unfriendly. When we address the problem about the number being wrong they did not care. They said “that ain’t my problem. That’s a managements problem” so unprofessional. Smoothie was subpar and tasted watered down. I will NEVER be back to a tropical smoothie because of this experience and that’s a shame.
