My family & I were in town visiting & wanted to try this place because we thought it was an actual "treehouse"...lol. We arrived to this small, cute, quite little nestled in restaurant with trees surrounding the building and an opened up seated area. There was 12 in our group when we arrived, (we always travel like this). The 1st waitress was a little rude. She didn't explain to me how the seating process working or approximately how long it would be. We just, "needed to wait on the ramp" The 2nd waitress Gabbie, explained the process, asked how many kids we had, informed me there was another large group & asked if we could be seated aparted. We eventually was seated about 20 minutes later, with Gabbie (we all were fine & had anticipated a wait). She was very attentive, helpful with the menu. She returned to refill our drinks & followed up after our food was delivered. Our table ordered cheeseburgers, fries, sweet potatoe fries, steaks, plantains, blt's, pizzas, fish, fried green tomatoes and a couple adult beverages. All in all we really enjoyed our dinner & the other customers were very friendly.
Lunch after church…very satisfying. The atmosphere was very nice; the music was soft in the background was nice and not loud. The menus was large for all kind of tastes. The food was real good. We will certainly be back.
Super quaint and charming little hideaway off the beaten path! I had been meaning to try this place for a couple years and just never got around to it. The plants surrounding the place are gorgeous and made me feel safe. Ambience was great. The food was decent enough. I ordered a BLT and my partner got a veggie burger, which were good but not outstanding by any means. His fries were kind of soggy/raw. They did have a lot of stuff on the menu that I think would be worth trying! The service was probably the least impressive of all. Our server seemed stressed (she might have been the only one servicing the outside tables) so I get that, but she didn't even really pretend like we were welcomed guests. She didn't state her name or really give us the time of day besides doing the bare minimum. Didn't check on our food until we were almost finished with it. Again, I get it, but it does really put a damper on the experience. I thought it was just her but the other staff on hand had exactly the same attitude, which was disappointing. Otherwise a super cute place!
1st experience eating there was great so we decided to give it another go and that was a huge mistake. We ordered the steak in medium for my husband and I and a couple kids meals for our kids. Both steaks came back well-done so we asked to have it replaced. The waiter spoke so loud drawing the attention of other patrons around us expressing that he could not take the food back but will bring our replacements. We were shocked as we didn’t expect that reaction and we’re already passing our plates over to him. So they eventually brought the new steaks back. Mine was good, my husbands was still well-done but we chose to ignore it this time around. When it was time to leave the waiter brought the Cheque and to our surprise the restaurant decided to charge us for the first 2 steaks at half-off! We were taken aback because the only reason we packed the steaks in to-go boxes was because we didn’t want it thrown away after the waiter had expressed to the whole patio that he couldn’t take the food back. So the audacity of charging us for the steak is the reason for this 1 star. And to make matters worse after we refused to be charged extra for food we didn’t want in the first place they happily took back the steaks that they were initially adamant about not taking back. We were not only embarrassed but were also made to feel like we did something wrong when we just wanted the temperature of our steaks to be right.
Treehouse is such a wonderful generous place.
The food is great. Service not so much. There’s long wait times for tables. This isn’t due to service. Mostly that the place is a vibe and when people finish eating, it’s easy to stay. You won’t be greeted in the wait line until you’re seated. I initially thought I was being ignored. The prices were appreciated for what I got. The salmon Benedict was cooked perfectly. It was so friggin delicious. The home fries were done well. The mimosa tastes different. Don’t know how to explain. Just different In a not bad and not good way. They allow pets for outdoor seating. A dog at the table next to me kept bumping against me, talked to a nearby dog in my ear, and begged for food. That I don’t appreciate, it hurt the aesthetic. The f
It was....ok. We were seated quickly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The staff was also pleasant. However, the food was kinda hit or miss. The calamari was seasoned well but wasn't prepared well. The nachos and cheese had plenty of nachos, but were very plain and the cheese wasn't good at all. The fries were over seasoned considering how small the cut was. My burger however was made just right.
I first went to Treehouse over a decade ago and it's a spot I'm always happy to return to. Particularly during these COVID times, it's nice to have an open air patio safe where you can safely have a meal. Parking is always a little tight, but once you grab a spot you are in for a good night!
The food and presentation was great. They had a unique twist on very common foods. Calamari with a southern twist. Buffalo wings were great. The vibe, music and ambience was low key and chill. Most of the seating is essentially outdoors so felt very comfortable. Brisket is pictured.
I had the Southern Style Eggs Benedict with Home Fries. First, I've never liked home fries, but these were delicious. The biscuit was light, eggs poached well, and the gravy was great. My wife had the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. She enjoyed them. The pancakes were very thin and light. The deck is a nice environment and full of plants.
