Flavorful food and it came out very fast! The shoyu ramen was yummy and the broth tasted very good. The bamboo shoots in it were cooked very well! I wish I had the other half of the egg, but other than that, everything tasted amazing.
I’ve been here multiple times, and it’s always a great experience. The staff is always super sweet and ready to help, and the food is delicious. The eggs are my favorite part of the noodle bowls. Definitely worth the trip.
Nice servers, good atmosphere, but the food missed the mark. The ramen was sweet along with everything else, making this not as a authentic experience as I thought it would be. The toppings were also just okay other than the chasu pork. The broth for the tonkotsu ramen was pretty light and not as oily as you would think it would be.The gyoza was steamed rather than fried on the bottom, and served with a very sweet sauce. The bar was very empty in terms of accessable condiments like black pepper, soy sauce, etc.Overall I think it is a cut above alot of smaller ramen places in America but I think that an addition of a soy sauce based ramen broth to replace the lighter tonkotsu ramen and a heavier oily tonkotsu broth would really do it good. I think frying the gyoza really is a must for type of dumpling they serve as well.Anyway I appreciate the thought put into the cooking process so far and hope to see it improve.
I love this place! Tasty food!!
Stopped by at this place for the first time and it was excellent. I’m a big fan of Ramen and the Japanese food culture. I forgot exactly the name but it was hood and of course it wasn’t any meat on my receipt… pescatarian lifestyle.Recommend stop by and enjoying yourself with some delicious ramen. Good for dates or just to grab some damn ramen
Good Japanese noodles or “ramen” here. We enjoyed the “ramen” and a “poke” bowl. Tasty and delicious. Could taste the real Japanese taste. Awesome!
Great experience. Friendly customer service especially in finding a table comfortable for us. Good food. Got the vegetarian Ramen. Dumplings were good. The wings were fried perfectly and the edamame was good as well. Had a few beers and my friend a sake (keepsake glass) and dry noodles. She enjoyed her meal as well. Located in ponce city market. Would eat again.
Flavorful food. The Ramen dishes were super fresh, wings appetizer was uniquely tasted, Japanese sausage was great. The food comes out super quick. Family friendly. Nice portions!
Ramen here was pretty good and hella tasty. I've never finished ramen to the point where I'd drink up the broth. But it was so flavorful that I couldn't help myself. It's definitely a go to if you're in the area and want ramen. I would recommend it!
Oh yeah. This is the stuff. As a tonkotsu ramen freak, I was very pleased by the bold and robust broth in my bowl when my order came. I had a taste of the shoyu broth as well and it was immaculate. With some ramen places, I run into the issue of the chashu being too fatty, but I was relieved to find that wasn't the case here - at least not with my visit. The toppings were all very well done and my tastebuds are very, very happy. This one is going to straight into my top 3 (or top 2) ramen spots.
