Saturday early evening, not particularly busy and seated immediately. Too long to get the waitress to our table after seating. Good fried pickles. Had to ask for utensils twice. Shrimp skillet came out super quick but was disappointing when it was cold, lacking any true skillet flavor and the tortilla strips tasted stale! Ordered the Flan for dessert which was ok. Not coming back.
Family lunch on a late Friday afternoon, 3 adults, 3 teens, 2 school aged-kiddos, and an infant. Place was packed already, we opted for back to back tables for a quick seating.Sampled the jalapeño and skinny margs, both yummy but wish the jalapeño would have been a bit more spicy! Other spicy options available, just not preferences. The adults and kids dug into the chips, queso, salsa, and guacamole appetizer, it was loved by all. Please note this is not a free chips and salsa when you sit down type of establishment.Tried multiple tacos, with some wins and some disappointments. The steak and mushroom taco with blue cheese was a crowd favorite followed closely by the Buffalo chicken. The fried chicken wasn’t great, it was greasy yet dry. The toppings on it were roughly chopped and made the bite strange.Serve was good but not overly attentive.
Great place for a quick bite. Keep it simple. The chips and dip are outstanding. Had the 3 dips guacamole, cheese and salsa followed by chicken nachos. Perfect for two.
Laid back and a cool place to hang out, have some beers and get some good tacos. And the guacamole is fresh.
I chose a 6 pm sat night time to beat the rush, if any. This allowed an immediate seating outside on deck which in prefer on cool nights (covid). Servers checked in quickly. We did have to ask for water and utensils a few times , but we weren't ready to actually dinner order for 45 minutes and we didn't fuss. It barely filled up which I liked and my parking spot was the premiost (my word tm), skillet was really good (choice of protein , beef). I wish prices were not 15 but it is common, parking was available around. I don't eat out much , but outdoor patio, easy parking , liked the food, I came away happy, which is rare.
Our server was horrible. Never offered a drink menu. When we asked about drinks he said we have margaritas and Long Island teas. Barely came to our table dropped my food when bringing it. We had to ask for the wet patio seats to be wiped down. Food wasn’t even hot and I ordered a skillet. The tortillas felt right out the pack just horrible experience all around and we were celebrating my best friends birthday. I was truly disappointed. For the cost I should have made reservations at another resturant in the area.
Service was extremely slow. They weren’t that busy so no excuse for it.
Had a great time once again at Tin Lizzy's! Food and drinks were great and perfect for our date night.
Very nice staff. The food is average chain bar food.
We went on Tuesday so they had huuuge discounts on draft beers (and other drinks) and a great selection of ~$3 tacos! Literally were shocked at how much we got for such a good price. And on top of the amazing food & drinks, our waitress was perfect. 10/10 recommend especially on Tuesdays!
