My husband and I are military (USAF) - he’s a chaplain and I’m a lawyer. We just returned to the US after being stationed in England for three years. My husband grew up in the area and has eaten here before, so we stopped by to visit and eat with two friends. I thought it would be fun to compare the fare to good from actual British pubs which were our staple while stationed overseas. From our initial welcome, we thought it would be a great visit. Management’s customer service and professionalism, however, could do with some work. It is absolutely unprofessional to walk past a customer’s table, after a complaint has been resolved and the customer agreed to pay for a meal that doesn’t meet their dietary restrictions, and make an inappropriate comment in passing. This is particularly inappropriate after sending the poor wait staff to address the issue, in lieu of addressing it yourself as management. Not once did management stop by our table and the only time he made an appearance was to pass our table and make the comment. Totally understandable if the customer is causing a fuss - not understandable in this instance. Aside from that, the wait staff themselves were very friendly when we entered the establishment. The chicken wings, fries and salmon BLT were good, as recommended by our waitress.

This was my first visit to The Manchester Arms… First the hostess Brianna (apologies if misspelled) greeted us without hesitation. The drinks were amazing also by Brianna… The environment was relaxed in the afternoon. Outside vibe was welcoming and chilled but we sat in doors. Hunters decor but comfortable atmosphere. Brianna took our orders and manned the bar along with the floor at the same time. Jennifer was amazing! She delivered our plates and her personality is so positive and we greatly appreciated. We had Salmon Croquettes, Shepherd’s Pie, Country Fried Steak, Mac n Cheese, Loaded Mashed Potatoes, Fried Okra & Broccoli… Will, the owner made the croquettes and when I say the crunch on these things is unreal… With a soft center… IT WAS INCREDIBLE!Definitely will be returning!!! Thank you guys for everything!

Best bar option in the area. Yummy bread pudding. Great service in bar. Heard the regular menu is good food. Lots of regular patrons here, good sign. Full bar offering. Decent prices. We uberd so don’t know about parking. Outside seating available.

A group of 15 of us dined at Manchester Arms last week. We were seated upstairs, and the food and service were wonderful. We had the best wait staff and that double bone-in pork chop was excellent. Fish and chips was also excellent. Great adult beverages. Thanks for the great experience!

We loved Manchester Arms. We had fried pickles, the blue cheese wedge salad, the chopped salad, fish tacos, and shepherds pie...yum! Everything was delicious. Prices were very reasonable. The ambiance was charming and delightful and the staff was so friendly and kind. I would definitely eat here again.

1st time visit! Ambience is nice with the British theme. Food was good, ordered the fish and chips (tartar sauce was delicious). The drinks were good as well. Bring a lite sweater if you're sitting inside, air conditioner was good and strong. Maybe will try sitting outside on a cool evening next time.

Was looking for a nice place for dinner in College Park, and after reading reviews for The Manchester Arms on TripAdvisor and Yelp, I decided to give the place a shot. What a great place it turned out to be. Nestled in a neighborhood setting, the restaurant offered indoor and outdoor seating, nearby parking, and of course great food. Starting with the pretzel that came with mustard and cheese, it was the perfect appetizer that was beyond tasty. Next was the fish and chips that was properly breaded (not overly) and cooked to my liking and served hot. Service was pleasant and on point. Reasonably priced great food in a quaint surrounding served by pleasant folks, what more can you ask for. If in the area, The Manchester Arms is a great option. I can't wait to return myself!

I ate here a few weeks ago by myself passing through to the airport. Nice staff then. Good food. But tonight I attempted to get a table on my way to the airport again and an senior-aged hostess said she couldn’t give me a table since I was alone and that I’d have to sit at the bar “if you can find room”. I asked her if when the two groups ahead of me got a table if I could be third in line and she again said no because I was only one person. Only the bar. The bar, by the way, was surrounded by standing people. Not sure how I was supposed to eat a meal that way.Anyway, I had really liked it before and had no problem getting a meal served to me when I was there alone before. Not sure the problem. I don’t care for Russian roulette when it concerns service so I’m bummed about having to pass over this place in the future, not sure what the seating deal is going to be. I’d rather not waste my time. Sad.

My meal was delicious!! I had the southern shepherds pie. Service was great too! All of my food and drinks came quickly. Server was nice. I believe her name was Jessica. I only gave it four stars though because $8 for a beer is a bit high. Too be fair I ordered a Smithwicks. I would definitely go back.

Took my buddy Tom for a birthday lunch. Walked in the door, informed Jessica that my buddy Tom was from the original Yorkshire, he couldn't visit home due to Covid restrictions, so I brought him here for a taste of home. Jessica treated us like, well, royalty. Very nice place, great food, great staff. Highly recommend!
