Kosher, but not the most gourmet or tasty. Recently had some meals catered by TKG. The breakfast consisted of a bagel hard as a rock, and not much else. Lunch/Dinner were better but the food did not taste very fresh, with some of the food tasting off. I unfortunately cannot recommend this place when there is better catering.Note this review is only for their catering not the actual store, which may be much better or fresh.
I love going to this store because all the food is OUTSTANDING!!The deli was so good that I even got two packages. My younger sister loved how there's good chocolate and they have lollipops that she can take when she leave. The wine is really good and the meat.I love this store ❤. Thanks for all the hard work. I can't wait to go again.
It was fine, they were ramping up for rosh hashanah so it was a little crazy
We recently made a wedding for my daughter and Steve Gilmer, his chef, and the whole catering crew were an absolute joy and pleasure to work with. They were very accommodating to our needs, the food was absolutely delicious and well-presented, and the price was completely reasonable! I was, overall, extremely pleased with our choice and highly recommend them for catering any event.
Coming from Canada, I have never seen such a dirty, unpleasant repulsive store. I'll never go back.
I come here at least every other week to purchase lamb and veal over the past 7+ years. They meat is excellent and fresh. On occasion I will purchase the chicken salad from the cold case which is good as well along with fresh cookies when they bake them. Now they used to have the Best Brownies ever but stop making them except for catering purposes only. This store has a loving family feel to it and Steve Gilmer is and has always been friendly as well as the rest of the staff down to the butcher. No matter where we move in Georgia I will always come here for my meat.Be Blessed!Toni M Smith
If you return a product the owner will resale it.Stay away from the deli salads and old day meatloaf and chicken that has a possibility to be served to you. Somebody obviously doesn't like to waste food. Do not give your credit card information to them, strangers walk in and out of the office while your information is facing up for quick exposure. Your saved credit card information is only a button on a old file cabinet away from being exposed. The place is too small that many of the food ingredients are placed over the trash can in a gray bucket. Ex: Holiday too many meatballs were given to a customer and she returned them a couple days later. Those same meatballs were given to customers as the employee opposed of Steve's poisoning. Ex: Every Monday there is a program that receives 600 boxes of food but, so what if the fruit or whatever falls on the floor...Do you think Steve will throw it away?Treats the employees like peasants. He even hit me with a notebook one time and caught himself afterwards to ask himself if it's harassment. My brother's didn't like it but, I spared Steve and laughed it off. So many employees want to quit and slap some religion into him. He literally knocked over a big count of food that a chef made out of anger while he was looking for something in the big fridge. He misplaces orders but, yell at everybody but, himself. He supposedly has a bunch of religious rules around the store but, uses profanity. The walls are tacky. Water can literally leave from the kitchen and flow right into the office of the separating wall.I literally went next door to use the restroom when I worked there. Best part...he replaced me while I was ill and having surgery. He never called and checked up on me or anything. I've called and text him. No responses. So, take this up with the Health Department and Georgia Department of Labor very soon.FYI Working - Full Time. Already. Had to explain your evil moment. Then wow. ?
