While okay usually, I grubhubbed a regular chicken and beef platter at 10:30pm and got no sauce on it making it super dry and about half the food I’d usually get. I’d get it if it was close to closing time but this is completely unacceptable.
Visiting from Virginia and decided to stop in for a bite. Glad I did! the food was great and the customer service was even better. Porsha and the rest of the crew was very friendly and made you feel like a valued customer. I highly recommend weather you're visiting or live in the area! Shavonna
Service can sometimes be chaotic. The gyro meat / shawarma chicken combo platter always tastes good and is crave-able. Get a line of hot sauce and the white sauce.
Tried the veggie platter here. The falafel tasted really good with the white sauce. Very filling. Bang on buck!
Always loved going to this place in New York, was really excited to find that they were here in Atlanta too! Same great taste and huge portions ??
We was traveling and we stop by to try it since we had it before in NY food cart. Absolutely not what we was expecting. The food cart was way better than this place. The Taste is different, Small portions of meat and lot of big pieces of raw onion and the rice very dry, French fries undercooked. Workers not professional and not clean. They not paying attention to customers, or clean the tables. We had to clean our table to sit eat. They been talking to each other inside and Getting drinks for themselves every minute. No sweet tea available. Bathrooms has no paper towels or soap. Water leak coming from the bathroom to the dining area. Very disappointed. NY Food cart was better experience than this place. The owner need to make some changes here.
I come here at least 4 times a week. The majority of the time the food is amazing, but with a constant stream of new employees everything is incredibly inconsistent. The amount of food you get depends on who is working. Sometimes you barely get any food, and other times you are struggling to finish the meal. I enjoy this place a lot, I just wish that the new employees received better training.UPDATE: New employees training sucks even more than I thought it did. Their health and cleanliness standards are completely unacceptable. I just found 2 long hairs in my meal. Completely disgusting.
We went for people gathering and we excited when we see the Halal guys. This place is for just name Hala Guys franchise not for Food…We ordered for chicken and falafel they are not cooked well and not too tasty.I don’t prefer this places to eat flavor of halal guys
The only thing I can say about this place is. “such a shame”!! Coming from NYC tasting their original corner food (in New York), back then before they become a franchise. It used to be the best gyro in the whole east coast. Now walking into “franchise” location in Georgia everything seems different. Forget about the lamb that they don’t have it, and the white sauce you have been thinking about, taste way different. It’s a perfect example of “franchise” gone bad. Either you step up and do the food the way you used to. Or I can see more and more bad reviews like that since In the end you provide nothing special. Also that sauce that you redesign* take it off the shelf no one cares about it. Especially that you charge a $1 for it is simply ridiculous.
I used to eat at a halal guys food truck in college, and I loved it. As soon as I went in I could tell by the smell it was gonna be good. I ended up getting a beef gyro platter. The food was amazing, and the portion size was great too, filled me up. Definitely worth trying.
