Highly recommended - with great pleasure.Truly an outstanding dining experience from the front of house through the back of house! Everyone was so sweet, attentive, and kind.We enjoyed an excellent late luncheon yesterday with BBQ fans from Texas, Alabama, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania. The meats, sides, and sauces were all spot on and thoroughly enjoyed. An excellent variety of icy, crisp, cold beer and wine were available as were iced tea.We opted out of dessert and took a stroll at nearby Chastain Park with several boxes of leftovers. So it's also a great value!

The portions were good and the ribs were very tender. I also had the cheesy taco which was very appealing. The brisket was a lil tough and dry and the fried ribs were fired hard and oily. Still a great place in my opinion

I love this place!! The ribs are so tender and season so good. The fried ribs fall off the bone. The food is always served fresh and hot just look at that smoke. I was so disappointed to find out the other 2 locations had closed but at least the location on Roswell Rd is still open.

Just ate here and I have mixed feelings. Paid around 30$ with tip and food. The highs were the Brunswick stew and beans. Really solid! But my goodness my pulled pork was soooo dry and devoid of flavor. The bbq saved it a bit but whew. I came right when It opened so you would think I would’ve gotten the best part lol. The staff were so nice though! Don’t think I’ll be back, but worth a lunch pop in if you’re in the area!

Went for the first time today. The order taker was very pleasant and the service is fast. However, I will not be returning. The French fries were terrible. They were burned black, cold, dry and tasted horribly. They should have been thrown in the garbage, but they gave it to me. The chicken was fair and should have been cooked longer. Apparently the coals/fire was too hot because it also had burned areas, but it was not tender. The mac and cheese was fair. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We had the pulled pork, it's delicious! The BBQ sauce is good too. The baked beans and Mac n cheese were really good! Great place for a meal!

Went on May, 28th and will not be returning. The French fries were black, dry, cold and tasted horrible. Those fries should have been thrown in the garbage, but they sold them to me. The chicken should have been cooked longer, it was somewhat tough. The mac/cheese is okay. I will not be returning, nor recommend it to anyone. Very disappointed, first-time customer.

With all the challenges in restaurant service these days, I have to commend The Greater Good BBQ for their excellent customer service. I had placed a large order for a party for the North Buckhead Garden Club and was to pick up at 4:00 on May 22. When I arrived, I was told that the owner had mistakenly taken part of the order and we had no cole slaw. Morgan said he would make things right. Morgan went to 2 grocery stores to get ingredients for cole slaw for 40 people, made it himself, and then drove it to our party, arriving in the nick of time! By the way, all the food we ordered was fabulous and enjoyed by all. Thank you!

I have introduced friends to this restaurant and purchased three slabs of ribs for my family to try out of state. I LOVED the food and the polite and fast service, especially the lady that has been there for years. I always wondered if she was family. Well, fast forward to my two recent visits this month. The first visit. I walked up to the counter and a young woman, that I didn't recognize, immediately stated, "We are out of ribs and sausage." Then she just waited for my reaction. No, "Hello," or, "I'm sorry. Would you like to try something else?" I thanked her and said I'd try another day. So, zero stars for her. Not the regular, polite greeting I am used to. Then, yesterday, I went back. It was close to 3:00. The gentleman that I believe is the owner, had my order ready. The nice lady I remember from all those past visits had taken it over the phone. The disappointment was not that the prices have increased, but that the sausage was not what I enjoyed in the past. It looked and tasted like something I could buy at the grocery store. It had not been grilled long enough, as it barely had any smokey flavor and no 'color.' I had ordered a pound, plus a plate. Sad I could not enjoy. I also had tried to order a half slab of ribs, but was told, this time nicely, that they only had four rib bones left, nicely explaining they had had a very busy lunch rush. Great caring attitude. So, I opted for half a chicken plate. Unfortunately, the chicken looked like something had rolled over it. It was very pale and dry and flat. I put it in a zipper bag. May feed to my cat. Literally SMH. I am elderly and don't drive a lot of places, so the fact that this trip was a total waste is even worse. I wish them luck. Food is still selling as they keep running out of things, but personally I am very perplexed and unhappy.

This place is super special thanks to the people and the service. A weekly dinner staple in our rotation is their chopped chicken with pickles to go. The minute I park and enter I am recognized and welcomed providing a friendly neighborhood dynamic. Food is consistently great and makes me think this must be a wonderful place to work. The genuineness from all is refreshing and makes me smile every time I visit. Kudos to their cue but also their culture! Oh and did I mention….best Carolina BBQ sauce ever!
