I think I may have had the best mac & cheese I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered the chicken mac & cheese and it was so fantastic. Like nothing else I’ve ever had, absolute mac & cheese perfection. I also had the bread pudding massive portion so delicious and satisfying. The portions on both could’ve easily served two people.

We stopped here after visiting Centennial Park on Tuesday. We were not disappointed. The three of us had Voodoo BBQ Wings, Shrimp & Grits, and their Creole Chicken Pasta. All were delicious, and they served us more than we could finish. Along with soft drinks, our bill came to $43 before tip.

So I work right by here and have been dying to try it for the last 6 years. Finally get a chance to go and I always see the lobster Mac and cheese advertised outside. They don’t have it today. :( But I got the Voodoo (bbq) Mac and cheese and buffalo hot wings. Wings are ok, I wouldn’t come back for them. But the chicken in the Mac and cheese is other worldly. Service is friendly but I asked for bread pudding and she talked to me about it but then neither charged me for it or gave it to me. I just let it go. Place was super busy. Nice outdoor area to eat. Very small restaurant but authentic creole cuisine.

I ordered the red beans and rice with sausage regular portion. It was fantastic with a perfect amount of spice. Shrimp and grits in a small portion for my breakfast, but the spoonful was so tasty. Bread pudding in a scrumptious portion. The staff was friendly, smiling and provided me with a relaxing atmosphere. They helped make my visit to Atlanta being from Wichita very enjoyable.

Sister and I drove a little out of our way to stop by this place on our way back to SC. We were looking for lunch to go. Read reviews and decided to try . Nice mom and pop type restaurant. They have desserts on the counter which they make daily. A little hard to decide with all the good looking options. My sister got the shrimp and grits because we didn’t have breakfast yet. Then ordered other stuff so we could just take it back with us to eat later. Shrimp and grits was really really good. I believe we got one of the voodoo chicken and another bowl . The only negative I will say is I read someone talking about how they use thighs. I didn’t understand what the issue was until I actually started eating the bowl. I have to agree that I do not like thighs in it. I just couldn’t enjoy like I truly wanted . However the food here was really good.

This place exceeded my expectations! Had the voodoo jambalaya and it was so flavourful. Food was hot and fresh, took me back to New Orleans - true comfort food. The bread pudding came warmed/ hot and was extremely delicious!

I have been a loyal fan of this place since it opened in 2013. After the most recent changes, I won't be going back. Here's why: 1. They have restricted portion sizes to the largest size. There used to be a cup option and a bowl option for their soups. Now there is only the more expensive bowl option. No choice. Whereas before, you could order a cup of soup and a sandwich, that option is now too much food and too pricey to justify a $16, 16 oz bowl in addition to a sandwich. 2. The food quality has not increased with the price of the food. The gumbo was spicy but flavorless. 3. Premium ingredients are severely restricted. Why do I only have ONE piece of shrimp and ONE piece of chicken in a 16 oz bowl of gumbo? There was more rice and filler than anything else in the bowl and I felt cheated since that one piece of shrimp and chicken was all I ever got in the 12oz CUP. Considering point one, I'm just paying for more and more expensive rice and filler. From a long-term, loyal customer, I will no longer recommend or patronize this establishment. Thank you.

Got the shrimp and grits to go and it was world class. Spicy, cheesy, creamy, fresh and delicious. The restaurant is small, but clearly puts all their focus on making you a good meal. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. Stop by and check them out if you're in the mood for Creole.

I don’t leave reviews often, but this place deserves it. The cashier was so nice and sociable asking us where we were from and even paid for some of my meal since it was my birthday. Aside the ambiance and vibe of the place is so cute especially at night with friends. It’s right down the street from the Ferris wheel, tabernacle, aquarium etc. whew and the food! It was so so delicious and hot and you get a good amount for the price. One con is just that it was hot as hell but I would love to come back.

Great food, fast service, and nice people. We tried the ooey gooey mac and cheese, voodoo jambalaya, and shrimp and grits. Everything was delicious with good portion sizes and I would definitely come back here again. We also did try some of their brownies (not pictured because we are them too quickly) which were so delicious and fudgy.
