Great coffee, decent breakfast, spotty service, lovely atmosphere.Third time here where I've waited for something to come out and it was either forgotten or took a very long time (we're talking about warming a croissant). But the wait isn't bad with a pretty view, and everything tasted pretty good, so I can't complain much. I would come back to try the cocktails.

Located right at the northwestern corner of Chastain Park, The Chastain is a beautiful location with an ambiance that matches. The outdoor area was enjoyable despite the cold weather, the bar had a ranch feel and the dining area was a modern mix of glass and old school charm. We had a table in the private dining area which had a beautiful fireplace, decor and it's own bathroom suite. The service and food was spot on and I would recommend for either cocktails or a romantic dinner.

The food was a solid 4 stars sometimes even a 5 but the service was a 3 and the setting a 2. Often neglected, we were sat outside in the freezing cold at night during winter. There was one heater to share between 4 tables and that was it.

From the valet to the scrumptious vitles i have never been so overwhelmed. The familiarity of the atmosphere and unique menu suddenly came into focus when Brian our server related that the chef was endoctrinated at the french laundry.what NOT to miss:the sprout saladi shall return

A tad bit messy. Had reservations, weren't seated until 45 minutes after. Sat down and ordered drinks at the bar while waiting - my friend got hers immediately mine (simple dirty martini) didn't come until after we were seated almost an hour later - said it was due to glasses being cleaned (ask if I'm good with a different glass?). Once delivered it came with a side of sass from the bartender who sarcastically asked if I wanted her to go back inside for olives. Our waitress was very sweet - but did forget to put our first course in.All of our food came out at once, but was very delicious.Great location and ambiance. Had a great time with an old friend - just glad it wasn't a new friend or a first date situation as the entire experience was orchestrated poorly.

The Chastain has been one of the best restaurant experiences I've had for a while. The service was excellent, the food was top notch. I mentioned I was celebrating my cousin's graduation when I made the reservation, and they laid the carpet out with a wonderful dessert!I will definitely visit again!

The Chastain Café creates an incredible outdoor environment for an incredible pastry and coffee menu. We ordered a chocolate croissant, quiche, cheese & egg biscuit, and a coffee cake. We picked a seat in the enclosed patio area but moved out into the courtyard when the sun came through. Such a peaceful environment surrounded by a communal fire and conversation. The pastries were delicious and the coffee was good enough to order a bag of espresso beans to go. Parking was readily available and the location was quietly located across from the Chastain golf course. Would definitely come back with a group of friends.

This place is a hidden gem. It is so beautiful both in the night and day. Tho their dinner menu looks great this review is solely for their morning coffee and brunch bar. They make excellent coffee and have extremely good pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Their atmosphere is perfect for getting coffee with a friend, doing work from your computer, or reading your books! Not to mention their dog friendly.

This gets 4 stars for service at the table and the ambience. Food was honestly just ok...ate the shrimp appetizer which was tasty but too much tempura in my opinion. Had the sprouts for my salad dish and trout for main course. Just didn't leave there dying to come back for another taste of anything. Manager was phenomenal though!

Wonderful spot for breakfast/coffee. Every pastry was top-notch and the breakfast biscuit was to die for.
