I had seen this on the top lit brunch spots list. So I was very excited to try this place out. I made sure I had a reservation but of course. Easier on me and the staff at this location. Valet was $20 and since I did my research...I was prepared. We didn't wait long for our table luckily. They sat us outside in a tent since there was no space in the inside. The place was definitely packed. They had portable ACs but I didn't feel much. It was a hot day as well. 1 AC was on. We were melting and buying a hookah was out of the question. Too hot. I bought the bottomless mimosas($30)...since each glass was $10. Better deal for me! I was disappointed my glass and the kraft were plastic. Takes away from the brunch experience. Guess since the pandemic its sanitary and cost effective. My cousin ordered the red velvet chicken and waffles. I had the braised beef short ribs. We also ordered a side of Mac and cheese. It took a long time for our food to be brought out. Definitely not our server's fault. There were lots of people, not that many servers plus the running back and forth between the outdoor/ indoor area. Our server was wonderful and the other staff we encountered ..were pleasant as well.My drinks kept me occupied. I read several reviews and this place was hit or miss. The quality of the food is not the best. Especially for the price. I was not impressed. The two hour minimum for your table is crazy if it takes almost an hour for your food to come out. The music was bleh. DJ la bonita was definitely missed. No variety what so ever. Music is important at day parties( any party). I expected so much more. Glad I went to experience it for myself but I do not care to return. I've definitely been to some great brunch spots. This place has potential and the location is dope but it was a miss for us.
FIRST VISIT. I enjoyed the gumbo, cheese steak rolls & grits. The drinks were on point as well, FOOD DELICIOUS! Would definitely visit again. Valet parking 20bucks unless you park in area across from the restaurant which I was told not a good idea after dark. Your reservations are only good for a short time so we had to reserve a table again & we weren't finished our meal yet. DJ was EVERYTHING, some new music with the best of OLD SCHOOL flava.
My family and I went out for what I thought would be a Mother’s Day brunch. When we arrived we were told we had to sit outside inside the tent. The tent reeked of mold, mildew, and mop. It was extremely cold and rainy outside. As myself and my family sat, no one greeted us. I observed a waiter eating and stuffing her face at what looked like a bar or prepped station inside of this tent. The ambience in this Tent didn’t exist. As I sat and wondered what was happening here I felt like I was being punished with the poor service and smell and terrible ambience. I wanted to cry as it was my special day. The parking lot attendant was nice enough to refund us for our parking lot fee. But I left with sadness knowing that people were sitting in this mold spores tent on their special Mother’s Day.
The food was amazing everything tasted great the music and drink omg I can’t say enough about this place I would highly recommend
Allll the way from South Florida!!!!! Pro reviewer and this place is LIT ? IF your looking for hiphop/ rap popular song selection. Strong well blended drinks!!! LEE was my server!!! Wonderful service she was prompt and courteous the whole evening. I arrived made a reservation ahead and it was honored immediately!! I was seated immediately she took my drink order immediately and i ordered a hookah along with it currently 50 bucks with options for refill at an additional charge. Refill on drinks were quick (not in cute glasses) but still tasty. Food came out in a timely manner. Its in a rough neighborhood but (i went alone and im female) a positive attitude helped of course!! I ordered hot wings cooked hard and that’s exactly what I received and they were crunchy and delicious ? ordered fries no salt and they came hot and no salt as requested LOVE IT AND THE VIBE IS ON POINT

First off let me say ..... It was a vibe nice music and great drinks.. Meme was my waitress I ordered wings which could have cooked longer w/ some flavor. I also had a Tequila sunrise... yummy and my FH had salmon and 2 Hennessy margarita which he enjoyed. Here is where things get ugly.... I paid $20 for parking. Our ticket came to $112.44 which was paid and left a 10$ tip. only to wake up w fraudulent alert they charged my card $130.44 ! WHY DID YOU STEAL FROM ME? I DID NOT PURCHASE THE BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS... MEME I NEED ANSWERS PLEASE???. because of this my card is locked til Monday. This is not ok and it will be refunded... Thanks for slowing my weekend stay down? and for this reason I do not recommend this Lounge nor the waitress MeMe?
My experience at BQE yesterday was very disappointing. We paid over $150 for lack luster service. The wait for our food was over 40 minutes for our food to come out. Other parties that arrived after us received their food before us. We were sat at the most inconvenient place in the restaurant. We were seated right by the door and were constantly being hit by the cold wind coming from outside. When we asked the waitress to move our seat and she agreed, but then changed her mind. Our mimosas were brought out in cheap plastic cups with plastic champagne cups. The waitress did not open our bottles nor did she pour us our first drinks. Gratuity is included so we were not given the option to tip based on the service we were given. It was not a good experience for us and we will not be returning
Lee was a great waitress. We only had to wait 10 minutes for tables to be cleared for our reservation. Lee was on top of everything! The vibes were on point and food was delicious! Can’t go wrong with bottomless mimosas! I will definitely be back and definitely ask for Lee she’s amazing and super attentive!
The vibe was off it was giving unfriendly and uninviting. The food was okay nothing special
