The food is delicious and the drinks are about a 8 out of 10

Usually everything is all good. Unfortunately, Today my tacos were fairly cold and just thrown together . ☹️

Decided to give this place a try while I was i the city visiting family. Located, for me, in a newly renovated and gentrified area of town, and all for the better from what I have seen. The shopping area provided ample parking with an easy walk to the restaurant. This establishment has an excellent vibe and the general atmosphere is very welcoming, and the staff were all great. However, the first thing we noticed was the temperature inside the establishment; it was uncomfortably hot. The service was about average with some long wait times between server appearances. The food was very average. I had the Lemon Fried Calamari and it was pretty good. However, the Crispy Shrimp Tacos lacked any distinctive taste outside the extra lime and guacamole I added after I tasted them. My wife had the Salmon , and according to her it was very dry, and the rice was overcooked. But, on the good side, the bar service was excellent. All things considered, not sure I feel the need to return to this establishment for anything other than drinks with friends or family.

After being seated we were ignored for 10 minutes or so until we were able to flag down a server. It wasn't his section but thankfully he waited on us as we were planning to leave. There are too many dining options in Atlanta to deal with subpar service. The food was very good, the portions were nice, and he kept the drink glasses full. We would return for the yummy food and hope for a little better service next time.

I used to love coming here before the pandemic and after but the waitress we had today was kind of odd. She was tall, heavy make up, Different colored dreads or could’ve been twist, she was older. I couldn’t really understand what the problem was but she gave me this really weird vibe. Even in the ladies room. The very last time I was here she kept staring at me. It was awkward and weird I didn’t know what was wrong with her. Plus, the tacos weren’t as good as they were before so I’ll be looking for a new spot.

Good food, Great Drinks and polite service ??

Tacos and Tequilas was a nice place to enjoy Taco Tuesday. Our meal started with chips and the best salsa ever! It was spicy and tasty. We ordered tacos: me grilled fish, hubby pork. Me black beans, hubby refried beans. The tacos were fine but they were much better with that bomb salsa. I also ordered a house margarita which was a little to sweet for me.The waiter checked on us often.

Omg this place it so good the chips and salsa might get you full but when you have your first bite of your food you might down it in 1 second it’s that good

My family and I tried the ponce location out the other day. Everything about it was great. Our server Amber was a professional at all times making suggestions and directing us through the menu options. My children are tough on trying different things but they really enjoyed the experience at this location. The manager on duty Mike Fresh was inviting and also attentive. He made sure we were well taken care of. The food was fast and delicious. You typically don’t get great service like this since Covid, but I must say I was absolutely impressed with the leadership, staff and ambiance of this restaurant.

Went here on a Friday night because Mexican restaurants get people in and out quickly and everywhere else was packed. We waited about 20 minutes and then were seated. Our waitress took a few minutes to get to us, but we had chips and salsa almost immediately. My bf’s food was fine, but I ordered a steak chimichanga that had rancid meat. I ended up just eating the rice, beans, and guac on the plate and informed my waitress. I told her she should tell the kitchen so no one else would potentially get sick. It wasn’t taken off of my ticket, but after being put through the ringer to get seated at a restaurant in the first place I did not care to put up a debate. Our drinks arrived way after our food. It was 2 Don Julio tequila flights and something seemed immediately off. Our reposado and añejo shots were nearly clear. I’ve attached a photo of my shots and what they actually should look like for pretty much any blanco, reposado, or añejo. They were either a different tequila or watered down because after three full shots we were just… at square one. Not normal. I didn’t mention this to the waitress bc I was just ready to go.I tipped still well because the waitress wasn’t necessarily bad and I’m sensitive to how bad it is to work in service right now.
