Loved the interior decor, the food was good and service was good aswell!
My food was great as was my server. When I commented on being asked for the 3rd time by runners if I had ordered other people's food, I was told they are probably not paying attention to the # and description. I joked I can't eat that much. Another server completed my check and there was no thank you. Sorry guess I just expected to be able to enjoy my food and drink foolish me.Will go elsewhere in the future. Most patrons will be fine here however.
Superica is fantastic. Tacos al Carbon are incredible. The service has always been exceptional. My only complaint is just how absurdly busy this place stays, but, you can get in line for a table online.
I grew up eating Tex-Mex alongside traditional Mexican, and I found the food at Superica rather mediocre for the ridiculous prices they charge! Come on! This is Tex-Mex, not Nouvelle cuisine! We had previously eaten at the Avalon location. I at least found some comfort in the unlimited family style rice and beans, and the service was also excellent, so we decided to give them another shot while we were out at Buckhead. Our experience there was quite the opposite. We arrived early at around 5:30, so they weren't that busy. We were promptly seated. However, we waited almost 10 minutes until we saw our server. She seemed more bothered by having to wait on us than anything else. My wife and I have a great appreciation for wait staff, she comes from a restaurant family, and I was a server and bartender throughout my high school and college years, so we get how it's like to be "in the weeds." However, she was not. She was more interested in socializing with the other servers milling about, and her poor service reflected that. She forgot several things we asked for, and we had to remind her or else go without. When the food arrived, only half the table was served, and the others had to wait several minutes for theirs to arrive. We are a family that eats together, so we are always irritated when restaurants do this. To top it off, some of the plates looked like they had been sitting under heat lamps for some time. My wife ordered chicken fajitas, and they were pathetic. Especially for the outrageous price we paid! Many of the pieces of chicken were BURNT (not "blackened"), the guacamole had no flavor, the beans looked and tasted like canned beans that had been rinsed off in chicken broth, and the tortillas were somewhat burned yet had a rubbery texture reminiscent of microwaved bread. The rest of the dishes we ordered were mediocre. The icing on the cake was the hot sauce I asked for. When I asked our server for hot sauce the third time since she had forgotten about the previous two requests, she commented that she had to ask the kitchen for some. I was a bit optimistic by hearing her say that, but I was quickly proven wrong as this restaurant does not fail to disappoint. She brought over a small plastic bottle of hot sauce that had a powdery texture and mostly tasted like vinegar. Even the cheapest, blandest sauce like a Crystal hot sauce would have been better than that stuff! We will not be wasting our money with them again!
The food was so bad it made me sick. The salad had no taste and the fajitas and the beans that came with it had such a smoke flavor that you only tasted the smoke in everything. The wrap that came with it was terrible. Their chips and dips were very good. The food here is not only bad it is so over priced!!! The one thing that was great was the service. We had a server named Cash who was excellent.
Best Tex Mex in Atlanta! We love to eat at the bar where Mitchell and Jose provide fantastic service.
Warm vibe, delicious food, and friendly services. The food here is very flavorful and the seafood salad is so good. You can taste the seafood unlike some other places where it's drowned with tomato juice. Side note, plenty of parking spaces.
Nate was our server and he along with food were excellent. Visiting from savannah and wish you had store there. Visiting our kids here and will be back???

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the whole ATL area. Great service, tasty food, interesting salsa and beverages. The ginger margarita is my favorite drink to get here! Wish I could give them 10 stars.
