Derek was very friendly and attentive to details. He made sure that my order was vegan. The vegan sushi was delicious.
Overall an aesthetically pleasing spot to dine in. Provides reasonable accommodation if you're just wanting to sit here and get some work done and enjoy a snack later in the day.Happy Sushi hour is from 3-5 weekdays, which makes the pricing of things a lot more reasonable.
I had a great experience here. It was my first time. Customer service was great and the food was tasty. I got a crab salad roll and fried rice. Yummy!!! And please get a cup of their mango tea. Delicious!! I will definitely be back!
Great food! Wow! Not expecting it to be this good. Ramen tasted authentic, sushi was fresh and great. One note is they do not have traditional cola products on tap. What they did have was good, but they sell Coke in cans.
This is a great place to grab quick, fresh sushi! ? I got the Yellowtail and Spicy Salmon rolls. They were both good, but I would definitely recommend the Spicy Salmon! Each roll was $7.
I love this place! I eat here at least once or twice a week. They have a huge selection of food from sushi to rice bowls, and poke bowls. :) and they also offer a happy hour from 3-5 where rolls are 3 dollars!!
I've eaten here a few times now when I've had a sushi craving and not wanted to venture far from home. Overall the sushi is pretty mediocre, especially when you factor in the price. Lots of fried and heavily-sauced rolls, if that gives a good picture. Definitely not worthy of a date night or special occasion.
Sukoshi is a good to go, on the move, restaurant. The raw fish and rice are just okay, the service is extremely good, the atmosphere is fantastic. The rice is more of a medium grain then a premium short grain and is too starchy like the rice wasn't wash very well. The fish was a bit fishy and rather tough in texture. This feels like an Americanize sushi restaurant which isn't a bad thing just wasn't what I was expecting. Overall it came as a surprise that Sukoshi was so underwhelming given the reviews raving about the greatness and flavors of the cuisine. I will say that the drinks were the highlight of my visit and will be my reason for giving it a second chance. Between the large variety of canned alcohols and the amazing frozen yuzu lemonade I look forward to going back during the warmer seasons.
Stopped by for a lunch date earlier today. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. Yuzu lemonade was very tart and absolutely fantastic. I ordered a tuna mango poke bowl; the bowl was lacking in some flavor but balanced well (really just needed a good marinade for the meat or some sort of house sauce on top.) I was a bit concerned as about half the tuna portion was good and the other half was fishy smelling and tasted off putting. Looking at the coloring, it seemed like someone may have thawed the fish with warm water rather than cold.My date ordered the sushi roll combo, though i didnt try the combo: they said their food was alright but could've been a better overall quality especially for the price.Regardless of my first impressions, I would like to return and try some of their hot foods and house drinks.
I've been here a few times and seems to be getting worse on portions. I ordered the tempura shrimp rolls and there is literally no meat just full of breading. Not much to the roll but they could at least make sure there's shrimp inside every bite.
