Food was gross and cold. Lost count of the times employees rolled their eyes when asking for basic things like ketchup and a to go box. I now completely understand why the restaurant was a ghost town.
It is located in a safe area however, the texture of the bread was off. Had the bread been different, it would have changed the whole experience. Also, they don't put any sauces on your burger, you do it yourself, and I'm not a fan of packet mayo. The chilli cheese fries were good tho. Average drive thru service. Would I eat here again? No.
After reading the reviews...it's amazing how people surely love to complain. Yes, they've made changes: there's a kiosk for orders, they've cut staff etc..this company is in survival mode and needs your help. Place your order at the kiosk and either take the food away or dine in and enjoy. Do what you can to help the workers and company to remain in business
Very disrespectful employees. They were selling customers that had placed to-go orders food to some kids at the window & putting the cash in their pockets & tried to pick a fight with me, started calling me all types of names & saying I wouldn’t get my food, closing the window in my face. DISRESPECTFUL. Then luckily I started recording, he almost threw my food & drink on me. It wasn’t until the manager told him “she’s recording stop” that he realized it was too late. Will be calling cooperate Monday @9am when they open.
Service was acceptable. The young lady was pleasantly polite at the window but when you order that individual wasn't very courteous. Likely was the same individual. The food was excellent and hot. It was very good for fast food. Not five stars but a strong 4. Efficiency and courtesy goes a long way. .
Place was empty. You have to use a kiosk to order, staff really doesn't talk to you at all. It is not like the steak 'n shake I used to love. If they are all like this I won't be going back. The food was okay.
Never eaten here or tried to. Wanted to pick up and order for doordash. The line of car was around the building at 10:30, no one allowed to sit inside. I get to the window and can't even pick up the order or get any help. The fast food industry is suffering hard right now. These reviews will show em.
I usually have low expectations for steak and shake, however this one manages to fall short of these bare-bones expectations.Additionally, this location has limited service to drive through only. For some absolutely asinine reason they have still not opened their service to dine-in, despite everything being fully opened for months post-covid and their google maps location stated they were open. Apparently 7 pm on a Thursday is a bad time for a place that serves food to be open for business.
I was super disappointed with my order from this restaurant. We ordered two bacon burgers with fries. We did not receive fries, the burger had 1 small strip of bacon and was cold.I always enjoy steak n' shake but this was horrible and we ordered specifically so we would not have to go out. Then we had to go out anyways.We the away the food and ate at another restaurant.
The worst service ever especially from management. When I told her no tables were clean for dine in she rolled her eyes and walked away. My burger bun hard and cold. I ordered a buttery butter which comes with grilled onions and it had none when I asked for grilled onions she informed me it would be a 1.00 however the burger did not come with any. The gentleman expediting was courteous however they need a change in management if this field is not for her. And also they need to sanitize the kiosk a little more frequent if this is their new norm.
