I’m giving it for because the customer service was great my first time. However I was not big on the country steak I had. It tasted like too many other vegan dishes that use beyond meats. Soy or pea protein in their products. The potato salad and macaroni had a unique but good taste to it. The rice and gravy was good as well.

Stopped here during the Atlanta trip with my plant-based buddy. Modest exterior hides a jewel of a restaurant. Vegan and vegetarian food only, no problem. Food was amazeballs. I personally fell deeply in love with the Jericho Rice, but my buddy appeared to have fallen into a trance eating the BBQ Tofu. The Mac and Cheese was supposed to go back to the room with us but we ate it all on the spot. This is a vegan soul food place, yes. But at its heart its about good, good cooking. These flavors, the textures, the sauces - holy s--t. This food is SO GOOD. The vibe inside is modest decor, sweet and attentive service, soft music and ceiling fans on all day. I loved it. They have a good to-go set up as well if you want to take it back to the room. I didn't have time for a second visit this trip, but will visit this place every time I'm in Atlanta. And 10 Stars for Horatio, the kitchen man who I met chilling outside. The kindest, sweetest and gentlest soul with a smile that will melt your frozen California heart into a puddle of chocolate sauce. Coming back to see you. Thanks for making my day.

The first place my wife and I went after getting into Atlanta was Soul Vegetarian. We had a Soul Vegetarian in Tallahassee for many years that we loved before it closed, and we needed to know if this was the same restaurant or recipes. It was a trip down memory lane! The kalebone twist had a great texture with a delicious bbq sauce. All the sides were just like I remembered too! We also ordered the Marcus Garvey burger (not pictured), and I think it’s the best vegan burger I’ve ever had! Love that sauce with it too. Thank you Soul Vegetarian for letting us relive some great memories.

Do eat here if you’re actively hungry. It took over 45 minutes for vegetables and rice to be made. The cashier took my name when I placed my order; thinking he would call my name once the food was ready. Instead , he said nothing and let my food as well as a few other customers, sit on the counter. It took me to walk up to the counter and ask for my food. When I received my food, it was cold and I wanted a refund. He asked if I “wanted to see if it was still hot” before giving me a refund. Poor customer service. Horrible. I’m sure the food would’ve been good if I gotten a chance to try it.

Visited the restaurant today for the first time. The Mac and Cheese was the best! I actually had to ask the gentleman at the front counter if it was really dairy-free. I absolutely loved it! The salad dressing was delicious as well. It had a very unique smoky flavor, but I can’t figure out what’s in it. I also enjoyed the Barbecue Tofu. Didn’t really care for the cornbread (I don’t really eat cornbread often anyway). But overall, I was very satisfied with my meal.

Excellent service and the BEST vegan mac and cheese I have ever had!!! It doesn't have a cheddar taste; it has more of a creamy Kraft cheese taste.

Customer service is unexpectedly pleasant. VERY good customer service! Food is good with prices to boot. The desert is pretty much delicious. Mac and cheese is good and presented very well. I would come here again.

When we came in, we were greeted with a warn welcoming introduction and smile. We looked over the menu, ordered food. The food came out in Styrofoam to go plates but I actually prefer disposable plating atm. Food was dense, flavorful and filling. No need to ask for to go boxes because it was already packaged ad so. But one thing I can say is their portions are bigger than average so if you happen to be hungry you will be satisfied with the amount of food.

All the yeses possible. Get you some kalebone anything. Best vegan mac and cheese since DC. Good greens don't have to have smoked turkey neck or neckbones. I'll be back

I visited this past weekend, I’m not vegetarian but I really enjoyed the mac and cheese, collard greens, sweet potato with cornbread. My uncle had visited before and praised the choices. The young man who took our orders was such respectful and responsible teenager. Healthy menu is awesome.
