What a disappointment for 4th of July. We are used to the delicious Slopes BBQ and service. Frankly, they were way to busy filling catering orders and the BBQ was almost without flavor. Clear, they had boiled and lightly smoked the meat as they had big orders to fil. Furthermore, the poor attitabout the obviously burnt cornbread was also disappointing. They claimed it was busy with catering and the cornbread all. Ame from the same batch. We were offered more burnt cornbread and then chewy garlic bread that as also not on par. The fried oak wasn't hot and my 86year old Mother in law did Not finish that sad BBQ sandwich because she said that even with sauce, it was tasteless. I tasted it so I know that to be true. Get it together or continue to loose old and valuable customers!!!! End if Rant.
Unique and lovely barbecue place that I had the pleasure to visit with some customers of mine in AtlantaAm a vegetarian, but the super duper kind lady at the front took time to explain to me what I could and could not order.I ended up getting some amazing fried okra, Cole slaw, Mac n cheese and a side of salad. I also got some garlic bread. It was a bit much but extremely delicious.Ambience is very charming and I really liked it a lot. Service was exemplaryMy friends pretty much cleaned out their plates, so I’m assuming the barbecue was more than acceptable :-)Don’t miss this place…it’s worth every penny.I’ll be back for sure

The food is phenomenal! I ordered the Brisket Melt with a side of Baked beans and Collard Greens and to treat myself further, I ordered Peach Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream. I promise you that there were no disappointments here! The staff is so hospitable and friendly. The wait time was short. They have a customer in me for life!
The beef brisket is so tender you can eat it with a spoon it’s a must try!
Service was exceptional. I had the combination platter with collard greens and black eyed peas and it was delicious. My sister and daughter had the fried catfish and gave it high mark's.
