I referred a friend here. The family put in an order one week in advance. Around 10 am the day before the child’s birthday party the bakery called to cancel due to a “Family Emergency”. I TOTALLY understand things happen but there was no attempt to try to make things better. There was no referrals to any other possible bakery’s, no offer to possibly make a cake another time half price …nothing. In a nutshell, pretty much just “I’m sorry and goodbye.” Again, I understand things do happen and I don’t doubt at all that it did, however when you are running a business despite unforeseen circumstances things should be handled more professionally. I personally would never come here nor will I ever refer anyone else again. EXTREMELY unprofessional in this situation.
I would recommend shirini bakery specifically for their online and shipping service. My order was fresh and delivered quickly in a very nicely packaged box that was perfectly protected even though the mail man left in the pouring rain. The macaroon sampler was perfect for sharing with my friends and the puff pastries were light and fluffy (a steal in my opinion).
The Goli cake and cookies were absolutely amazing! Highly recommended! Also, they delivered the cake in the middle of traffic hour as I was unable to make it there in a reasonable hour. They have excellent service!!
It’s so hard to find tasty desserts for those who have special diets and I know for a fact I found my go to! They are always so consistent and the owners are such friendly and hardworking ladies. My friends, family, AND co-workers have been requesting their Macs as birthday gifts this year. I can’t wait to do another special order cake from them, they do such a great job!!

I’ve ordered from Shirini to be delivered in Chicago and couldn’t believe how fresh and perfect all the macaroons were - I truly couldn’t pick a favorite flavor they were all incredible and my friends were obsessed :) Zara and Nela are an amazing team
