The food was terrible. The macaroni was overcooked and bland, even salt and pepper couldn't save it. The sweet tea had a terrible taste, although I used about 9 packs of sugar and Splenda. The water used to make the tea was awful which messed up the taste of the tea. I'm only giving it a 1 because the shane dog was edible. I would not recommend this location. The only thing good about it for us, was laughing at the sleeping customer whose head kept nodding. She was asleep there when we came in, and still there when we left.

I stopped by the area after a workout. I was walking down the street and a homeless guy asked me for change, I didn’t have any cash. He asked me to buy him a drink and I agreed. We walked into this Shane’s rib shack and a short black male with piercings was working the cash register. I asked if they had large drinks and free refills and told him I would be purchasing the guy a drink. He said they only have one size but they do have free refills. I asked how much and he said $1.95. I gave the cashier my card which he swiped and I left. I checked my transactions after I left and it showed $1.95. I just checked my transactions and it’s now showing $6.95. That’s shady business! it appears that this cashier added $5 onto a order that was simply a drink. I wonder where that $5 went…. Nevertheless i would like for this transaction to be refunded to my card as I did not give a $5 tip to this cashier!

They’ve raised prices and cut portion sizes. Menu photo shows 3 large tenders on the Buff-Q sandwich. I got two tiny tenders instead. Wont be back for this overpriced food.

The customer service at this location is the best. The staff is friendly and attentive. The ribs are tender and taste delicious. The only reason I don't give Shane's 5 stars is because of the sides. And not just this location, but at each Shane's I have been to. The taste of the mac 'n cheese, baked beans, or green beans is not really good. I really wish Shane's would change the recipe they use for their side items. I suggest to always get fries as your side and you won't be disappointed.

Delicious as always. Ribs were falling off the bone and the fried okra was on point.

The food was amazing and the staff was just as amazing. How is traveling from Ohio and about 15 minutes after leaving the restaurant I realized I did not have my purse. So we called and when we went back she had my person is safe and was very very kind and I appreciate it very much And we'll definitely go back the next time I'm in Georgia

Grabbed a bite there yesterday and while the food is plentiful (look at all that pork!) and good, prices have risen and they are *not* reflected on the menu posted in the store. One small complaint - I dined outside because I'm still trying to be cautious about COVID and they had absolutely no napkins and other paraphernalia that is on their tables inside.See attached photos

The Food is Good and the Restrooms were very clean I've been impressed with The Service as Well

From entering the store to exiting. The service was very pleasant...but to get home and noticed that I payed for or a large peach cobbler and they put a medium portion in my container was was a no go. Hands down..Athens Georgia has the best Shane's..sorry.

The food used to be good as well as the service. I guess they are having a similar issue with finding good workers. The prices are higher for less food. The chicken salad used to be really good, but someone decided to add heat to it. Why does everything have to be spicy? Not a good change. Oh well. I guess I'll leave them alone.
