Customer service was horrible. The cashier Erica was incredibly rude and had a stack of papers leaning on the scale. All candy is weighed and you pay for the amount. I was charged $30 for a praline and a small piece of fudge. When I asked about it her response was, “yeah, you pay by weight… that’s what you owe.” We then noticed the papers leaning on the scale. The manager then came to weigh my items again and they had to reimburse me $21. Everyone in the store was incredibly rude and lacked any customer service. I do not recommend the River Street Location.
A smaller version of the big River Street Sweets in Savannah but just as wonderful! Open, clean, and airy inside. A massive wall of dispenser candy in the left when you walk in. Several cases full of amazing treats on the right and ice cream in the back! You can also watch them make candy as well. If you get a candy tin, you can fill it with toffee for free! The staff were actively cleaning while we were there and take that seriously! They all were fun, friendly, and gave us good feedback and opinions on the candy we chose! Great shop! We had a blast and spent way to much money. #zeroregrets
visited this cute little candy shop while visiting Atlanta. I normally don’t visit candy stores but I was so glad I stopped in this one! The ice cream is absolutely delicious. I also bought chocolate dipped rice crispy treats and caramel pecan clusters. They let me sample the pralines-which were amazing-but I already had a bag full of candy. Will definitely go back and buy the pralines!
So many sweets to choose from! They have a little bit of everything for everyone. The gelato was yummy and they had a great selection. The staff was very friendly and patient with my indecisiveness lol.
Customer service was great, Gloves and candy bags were provided at the entrance. I purchased my favorite candy “Fruities”, they charge $16.50 per pound. I purchased 20 of these candies and paid $2.69
insanely overpriced. i got a small handful of gum balls and another small handful of sour gummy worms and the total was literally $22. INSANE. tastes no different than the candy you would buy at the dollar tree.
Bought some fudge as a kind gesture for a buddy that was in town doing a favor so I asked how it was and appreciated their complete honesty. I did not know fudge could be this bad but the taste and texture was absolutely awful, no way it was made 2-3 weeks prior, more like 12-18 weeks at least. I seriously think it was leftover from the World Series. The packaged candy or things manufactured outside store are probably a safer options.
Disappointed. I have a big family of about 10/15 people which we all like to go out together sometimes. I thought this place looked good so we wanted to try it out but as soon as we walked in (2/9/22 evening time) both of the employees there gave such nasty attitudes. Went to Jeni’s down the street instead. If you’re going to be working in customer service in a busy area don’t have nasty attitudes.
They deserve 5 stars but their female cashier today has an attitude problem. Sorry hun your job is customer service if you don’t like answering questions and assisting customers maybe you need a different job. I asked 3 questions each time she barely responded and rolled her eyes. Then I decided to go to the other register.
MAN! If you're near by & don't stop by to satisfy your sweet tooth it's your lost. Caramel clusters with pecans were DELICIOUS! The fudge rivals any I've tasted anywhere. Wait! Did I mention how mouth watering and enjoyable the carmel apples were. Well. All I can do is suggest you make it a place you want to go.
