The Pure in Inman park is ... to me, my sister thought her food was okay... The waiters are not that great and the food is not good at all! It's a hit or miss with the food and for me it's always a miss! But (on the other hand) some items look good (on the menu) and their chips are great. If I would go again which is not likely, i'd get one of their sandwiches they look good.
Always been a big fan of Pure.Favorites are the ceviche, fish (or shrimp) tacos, & most recently the camarones rojos.The chicken soup is the perfect dinner in the colder months.The margaritas are good & simple: tequila, lime juice and agave. What else do you need?
The ceviche saves a star for this review ... Service was not very welcoming however, checked on us every 5 mins for 2 hours without refilling water ... I could either have asked her to leave us alone until we got her attention, or forced my date to order more food and drink. I did neither (still 4 stars) and hope she's having a better day.
Great food and customer Service
Great local find! If you're looking a variety of salsas, tacos, and more..this place us for you. I had their steak taco served with a side of jalepeno mac & cheese. Who doesn't like mac & cheese with a spicy kick, yessssss please. Great laid back scenery too.
This is by far the best place in the neighborhood if you want pretty good Mexican food, and top shelf customer service from the staff. I've never seen a place in any industry have such retention of staff that this place has, which should tell you something. Steak burrito is great, Queso Fundito (sp?) is also great, and Evan the manager takes a genuine interest in his staff and restaurant. I recommend this all day long! p.s. Get a frozen margarita!
The food was excellent but the service could have been way better. Never ever have I been asked/ told upon tipping, "This is is... for $120?!". Umm excuse me sir... yes it is! Especially when not deserving of it. I literally watched the difference in interactions with our table versus other tables. Our server was beyond attentive and held numerous conversations with other tables. But barely held one conversation with us, played hard of hearing let alone remembered we existed or our drinks ordered.It took forever for our server to come and acknowledge us officially. Then when finally acknowledged, every order was taken separately with a large time gap. I honestly thought it was a shift change or something else going on the entire time we waited for our first drink(s). However, the food came out instantly. Like literally moments after ordered.Our second round of drinks the server totally forgot ( body language speaks volumes). Meanwhile, the table that was seated moments after us were served promptly (i.e. water placed at table while still being seated, chips and salsa came out seconds after being seated and their first round of drinks came out immediately after our first round of drinks were served) .We asked for to go trays and we're given the smallest trays available and one bag. My fiancee and I both ordered two entrees. After given our bill, the server literally stood there and waited for us to pay. Again, never experienced the bill being given and the server waiting at the same time.
Good and very pretty girls. I dont know why the pretty girls like to come here other than you waste money waaaaay overpriced. A drink a meal(a bowl) and chips and salsa with normal tip was 50 bucks. Unbelievable. Robbery. But the girls are cute and it draws pretty girls. Just dont understand why they like blowing money on food and rent? Food was good. The chips were homeade which was a bonus just not a 50 worth bonus. I guess I was pahing for the scenery(?) And location? (Downtown Atl)???? Shrug .....beats me
Dani provided outstanding service and the food was delicious.
We had a late lunch after visiting the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library. Has it’s own parking lot so that was a plus. Nice decor friendly and solicitous staff. The steak fajitas were really good and the serving was also generous. We also had 3 tacos al pastor. Great comfort food and located along restaurant row.
