I have to vent: horrible service at the Popeyes chicken there. Woman stopped me from pulling up to the window, then waved me forward to pay, then asked me to back up from the drive through window, then a little further back, then forward to pick up my order after a few minutes. (I think all of this was an attempt to defeat the timers that would tell the owner if they were serving the food fast enough). Then she refused to correct my order since my separate order of fries was put in a pile in the same box with the other order of chicken and fries. I just let it go because I didn’t need to be eating them anyway. They seemed to have no adult supervision and were used to doing things wrong never getting corrected. We need to stop going there.
1. They held the line purposefully and that I don't respect2. When asked why they want me to "wait at the yellow cone" and "how am I going to know to come to the window if I do", they had no answer. Late night crew was not very professional at all.3. Chicken was decent but far from the best Popeyes I've ever experienced.Add us waiting 20-30 min to get to the intercom and finding out about the line hold and we were not a happy customers. I likely will take my business elsewhere in the future. My family didn't deserve that.
Hit and miss hot good food. It's a fact that when we spend our hard earned money and then decide we don't want to cook . Wherever we decide to go the food should be fresh everytime. Even when I ask for the food to be fresh I'll get attitude for what I'm not sure because it's not free and I'm paying but with place it's a 50/50 chance you'll get fresh so I'll give them an ok and at your own risk
I think what they did wrong is pretty self explanatory. Common sense is not that common clearly. No Mayo was selected on the app when I ordered. Pick up my food to have Mayo lathered all over it. Disgusting
Wife stopped after work one evening to pick up chicken ordered qty 2 x 12 tender meals one spicy one regular. When she got home chicken was all bone in and not even 24 pieces plus it was all spicy so the kids wouldn’t eat. Called manager he was super nice he said he would replace the meal at a later date since we were about 20min from town. He reprinted the receipt and took all of our info for a later pickup. So went by today to get the order remade at they told me some the manager we spoke with wasn’t there I would have to come back then they found our info but only wanted to give us just the chicken when that was not what we were told. Very disappointed there is no customer service no more!!!! Plus spent $70 plus dollars.
When we pulled up to the drive thru, the guy on the speaker was super nice. We pulled up. There was a black truck in front of us driving away and the lady employee stuck her hand out the window but didn't wave or anything. We thought she was telling the truck to come back cause they forgot something. They drove off so I pulled up. Immediately the employee started screaming at us. Saying "why would you pull up like that when I had my hand out the window for you to stop?" I said "I'm sorry. I thought you were trying to get the attention of the truck in front of us. She ignored what I was saying. My passenger (who is a cancer patient that wanted Popeyes) got mad with her and told her to just keep the chicken sandwiches and we'd go someplace else. By this time she had closed the window on us and turned her back on us. This is not how to act. I've been working in restaurants for 20+ years and even before that I would never act that way towards people. Now we don't know if we want to go back cause are they going to spit in our food or something?
After waiting in line for 25 minutes, I reached the intercom, and the order taker informed me that they were only accepting cash which I don’t have. I cannot exit the line at this point because the curb that framed the line was blocking me in, so I am forced to wait another 15 minutes. I guess posting a sign on the store’s entrance sign or on the front door informing customers of this would’ve made too much sense. Please do better.
Food was fresh, our order was right and our sodas were not flat… and we came an hour before closing, when most fast food restaurants are not at their best. Amazing.
So I normally don’t eat fast food so You can take my review with a grain of salt but when you order lunch at 1pm on a Saturday don’t expect excellent standards from this location.First all I ordered w/ a co worker was a simple classic spicy chicken sandwich. Not even sides just the sandwich. Once our order was delivered her’s classic not spicy chicken came cooked medium and my SPICY chicken sandwich was cooked medium as well.Thank goodness I decided to bake my chicken (after it sat around our break room for an hr) because had I not I’d probably come down with food illness. Even though I baked my chicken separate from the bun at 350 for 5 minutes in the convention oven, my chicken was still moist and not dried but finally fully cooked. My buns were toasty and warm and not soggy like they were previously. So fair warning if you get the spicy chicken sandwich bake it before you eat it! Otherwise great flavor but not enough of the breading.
The service (and customer service) here has been terrible on several occasions. The chicken, like most Popeyes, is exceptional. The worst of it - the length of the line and the carelessness of service is often times not worth the long wait.
