This is my favorite restaurant for Indian food. I’ve been eating here since the early 2000s. When I discovered they had online ordering on their website I was thrilled. Order online quite a bit and always great. Tonight they forgot the rice with our dishes. I called and not only did they bring the rice but brought samosas and a dessert for the trouble. Awesome!
Their food is pretty good. I've used ubereats a couple of times here... However, I called and spoke with the manager and made a request for a particular sauce with my samosas. There's a sweet brown sauce they have that I prefer over the chimichurri. They said sure and hung up in my face. When I got my food there was no sauce at all. This happened twice and I've spent good money with this establishment... But this may be the last time due to the lack of courtesy and respect!
Planet Bombay is by far the BEST restaurant that I regularly go to in Atlanta. The service here is spectacular even on their busiest days. The staff exudes their love and passions so deeply into the food that it will leave you silently pondering how flavors that are so orgasmically good can even exist. The food is always out of this world and the service is outstanding! EVERYTIME we come we feel like we are visiting family. Phenomenal!
The food was good, although our naan bread was not hot. The meat combo was enough for two people. I ordered delivery and it took an extra 30 min from the time they said it would arrive, we live 6 min away from the restaurant. Im sure they forgot about our order when I called at the time the delivery was supposed to arrive... then he said oh the driver is leaving now... right. I tried to call the restaurant regarding this issue and the lady basically blew me off, starting she would call me back, I've yet to hear from them. Terrible customer service!
Even through the pandemic , Planet Bombay has remained its high level of hospitality. The food is top tier execution. The samosas were the best I have had anywhere.
Went for dine-in on special occasion for casual dinner. Although it took a lot of time for them to bring the food on table but the wait was worth it. The paneer tikka masala and malai kofta were delicious. I loved the paneer tikka masala gravy and the rice was cooked well too. The garlic naan was hot and fresh. The only disappointment was the chapaati/tandoori roti we ordered. It was literally a task to chew that roti, I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone. Rest everything was good, specially our server!
Best Indian food in Atlanta hands down. The service was incredible and food came out extremely quickly. Staff was very nice and at tentative to our requests. I will absolutely be back in the near future!!!!
