Pizza Piccola New York style

the pizza by slices were atrocious. the slices look a day or even days old. I ordered a supreme slice and everything looked sad. cheese, crust, bread, pepperoni, all look old. it felt like eating an omelette instead of NY pizza. breading was soggy, pepperoni tasted aged, green peppers were olive coloured, cheese was crusty, crust was like breaking chalk. felt like this thing went through several cycles of refrigeration and reheating. there's a sign on the board saying that employees must throw out slices if they've been sitting out for 4 hours. what a lie. I had ordered 3 slices (Cheese, White, and Supreme) in person during lunch hour on Sat, 2022-06-25. When I came at around 2-3PM, there were only what looked to be leftover slices: 2 slices of cheese, 2 slices of white, 4-5 slices of Supreme, and 1-2 slices of Meat Lovers. Compared to other NY style pizza places, the quality of the slices seemed lacking and was indeed lacking, especially the Supreme slice and I stand by my previous comments regarding the Supreme slice. The Cheese and White slices was not as bad, but not exceptional either. Mind you, I ONLY had the SLICES on THAT DAY; maybe on some other day, this might not be the case. On a brighter side, I also saw the freshly baked whole cheese pizza pie fresh out of the oven and it looked nice and appetizing. Next time when I do decide to order takeout, I will at least know to get a freshly baked whole pie in lieu of potentially repeating what had happened on 2022-06-25. I can't comment too much on the price; not much experience as 2022-06-25 was my first visit. At a menu glance level, regardless of food quality, prices of specialty slices seem a tad higher than fair compared to other places, but prices for Large 16" pies do seem reasonably priced.

I apologize In advance before I leave this review because I like to support our local businesses. That being said, this is the second time we’ve ordered from there and I have to say this is the last time. We just spent $25 with Uber eats for one large margarita pizza and it may be just a step above a frozen pizza. The crust is a cardboard type consistency. A margarita pizza should have fresh mozzarella, garlic appropriate, no Roma tomatoes and basil that is not shredded. There was no saltiness, and no taste to it. This place gets good reviews and inevitably I hope they get it right. I know ingredients are inflationary and good help is hard to find. Just trying to constructive criticism. Perhaps it’s a blip in this economical environment.

This place may not look like much on the outside. But if you want good authentic, with fresh, fresh cut vegetables on your pizza. I love mushrooms so the have to be fresh no can for. Me.This is it!! My 2nd time here and I am looking forward to going down the menu and trying some of everything. Oh and wings are not small. I've only had the lemon pepper but if he got these right I know the others gonna be good!

Wife wanted pizza and I was just not gonna order Dominos again. Tried this local gem for the first time. So surprised at the quality and other foods offered, if you are not feeling pizza that day. One of the top places in the area for sure.

We were so dissapointed at the taste of this deceptive pizza and garlic knots. We were so looking forward to tasting NY pizza to remind us of home again but unfortunately we were totally let down and unfulfilled. Also, some parts of the pizza was burnt, that's bad business! I pray that the skills of the people who make the pizza get better. For now, we will not be coming back!

All I can say is Wow!! The best food and ingredients at a great price. Thank you for accommodating my Keto diet!! I am too tired to cook many days a week so you have my Italian dinner business. I have tried many Italian restaurants and this restaurant is the best quality. I wouldn’t look elsewhere for Italian.

I just left this amazing pizza restaurant which I frequent twice a week. I don't know what the haters are talking about but this is some OFFICIAL NEW YORK ? PIZZA. The chicken parm I'm eating right now is making everyone jealous at work. 5 stars period..
