Yesterday was my birthday so I decided to go to Piece of Cake for a couple of slices. I got 2 red velvet and my husband bought 2 of another kind. Ive been there once before and it was delicious, but this time my cake was dry. I was so….disappointed after driving so far to get the cake. I didn’t find out until after I got home. If you go to piece of cake, DON’T go to this one! It’s too much money to not be good.
Inexcusable for price.Customer service was as dry as the cake and bland as the frosting.Hardly any product in stock so very disappointing ?
Okay cake. The cake portion is a bit dry and could use more flavor. The icing is too sweet. Paul Hollywood on the British Baking Show would not be impressed.
I ordered the 9 in. coconut cake for our Easter brunch and it was absolutely delicious!! It was cute too. Thank you so much for adding perfection to our menu!
I had a taste for cake after work and wanted what I thought would be more of a homemade taste instead of store made. The cake from here was dry and crumbly and very bland and looked old. The chocolate chip pound cake was decent. When I offered to get a whole cake from here, my fam said "don't bother". You know it's bad if the kids said no.
Very helpful in helping my wife and I order a cake for our twin son's birthday. Delicious and healthy. Will definitely visit again.
I bought 3 cakes for my dads 80th birthday. The white chocolate strawberry was ok. The 2 pound cakes were not fresh. They were hard, dry, and crumbly. Everyone was excited about the cakes only to be let down by the poor quality. It was disappointing and embarrassing to say the least. This was the only blemish on a perfect party. Thank God my sisters rushed to Publix and purchased a fresh tasty cake. A Piece A Cake use to be about taste and quality. That changed with all the franchise stores. Rarely do I post reviews. However, I would not want anyone else to experience this at a special event.
Waited over an hour to get cakes, shouldn't have pre paid for the cakes. Customer service SUCKS. One of the people working at Piece of cake allowed another customer to get in front of everyone because she had to catch a flight. I'm late for work when I came on time for my order.
They have gone commerical and the cake had suffered because of it... Cheap ingredients... Never stopping here again... Sweet staff and cute shop... HORRIBLE cake... It used to be so good
