I was very disappointed in the Key Lime cake I purchased for my best friend's celebration. Most of the guests stated the cake was dry. I could taste very little flavor in the icing and the cake. I should have known when I was instructed by the clerk to "not put in the refrigerator. "?
Came here during hours of operation, at lunch time, to a closed store w/a handwritten note on the door that said “back in 5mins.” Who is managing this place?! totally unacceptable. of course, they did not return in “5 mins.” after waiting 13min, i left. in reading prior reviews, it’s common for the staff at this location to do this. will never come back to this store and i hope they close down.
I promise that I do not want to get on here to just be negative but I feel like I need to be honest. I have driven over to the location on Cobb Parkway for YEARS, ran in there today to pick up couple of slices of cake and I could tell that “it has went completely downhill”. I guess I have been kind of expecting it with the way things are going these days to save money. Both slices, carrot cake and German chocolate was not at all the classy taste of the past. Also note that the guy working in there did not say a word I swear. I was in there on Saturday April 23rd right around 4:00. I know when I was in the “work place” we tended to be offensive with a complaint. It gets under our skin for some reason but please know I’m telling the truth. I always thought of piece of cake the very tops! Hope this is not the beginning of the new way and a new taste.
best cake of my life. Got a 9in birthday cake it for my birthday. It lasted us two parties with about 16+ ppl and plenty of left over slices. Just finished my last piece and I’m actually sad. Thinking about buying another just to have!! Was able to place an order online and pick it up a few days later. Definitely Recommend.
Never order a cake from here! I had to pick up for my daughter’s birthday and they didn’t have the courtesy to call me to let me know they would be closed due to weather.
I ordered here for Thanksgiving, the pick up process was a breeze. However the next day when we served the cake I received a lot of frowns.The cake was stale and dry. Not what we’re used to. I called this location who routed their calls to a call center. I waited on hold for 4 hours to have my call disconnected. I do not recommend this location for big holidays.

I was gifted Peice of Cake's chocolate chip cookies and chocolate cake. The cookies were good, but the cake was heavenly. I love this bakery because their products were as good as my Mother's.
I am visiting the Atlanta area and my friend who I am staying with purchased me some cupcakes from POC as a birthday gift. I wanted to love these cupcake but was very disappointed. The cake is very dry. I am not really sure why that was the case as my friend said that they were fresh. But I could not eat the rest of them. I do hope that they can figure out a solution to the cake being so dry as the concept of the business is great.
