Fire alarm has been going off for an hour and a half, it is currently 2:56 AM. Fire dept came and did absolutely nothing. It is a monday night, people have work in a few hours this seems like some sick joke. Funny thing is this happens so frequently I should be used to it by now.
The biggest pro here is the location and the guest parking. The halls tend to smell. They have to consistently fix security doors because people keep breaking them, and there’s a good bit of noise all around the complex. Other than that, the rooms are a good size, there seems to be plenty of space and comfort for many different roomate configurations. It’s definitely worth a look if you’re in a pinch and need to live downtown.
The building is filthy and poorly maintained. When you visit, look for stains on the hallway carpet, trash in the elevators, rats around the dumpster in back, nonfunctional gates, and doors pried open. These are not new or isolated instances.Recently changed management for the second time in less than a year. They shut down the resident portal and turned off auto pay, requiring rent payment in office. They didn't call or email. I called on the 6th to ask why rent payment had not been drawn. They explained the situation and said rent was due on the 8th. Went to pay on the 8th and was charged a late fee.
Fire alarm went off at 3:30am. Building personnel were impossible to reach. Fire Department came and couldn’t shut off the alarm. It’s now 5:15am and alarm is still going.
I have lived here for four months now and it’s been a great experience. The new management company came in and delivered on its promises to make changes. They care about the community and its tenants. Any maintenance request I’ve had has been handled with a sense of urgency (the maintenance staff is great). The grounds are cleaner and new cameras have been installed throughout. I love the area and it’s peaceful at night. I have a dog and I walk her at all hours and I always feel safe. The location is extremely convenient to Allstate Arena, Centennial Park, Grant Park, Memorial Drive, the interstates, Grady, and many restaurants, shopping, and other attractions. I’m looking forward to transferring to a two bedroom unit next month. That one has a view of the Capital and downtown but I’ll miss overlooking the pool. If you’re looking for an apartment home with abundant space in a great neighborhood, check out this one.
I usually don’t write reviews but I had to . I recently moved to Atlanta a month ago and looked into these apartments. I just want to say I finally spoke with Timberly G. ( I think that’s how you spell her name ) about looking to move here. When I say she was so pleasant and helpful over the phone . She really answered all my questions and made me feel like this was a great place to be. I can’t wait to apply and move here!
Great property very friendly staff!! Had Timberly Gilbert help us out. Overall would recommend this option especially for GSU students.
Timberly was very helpful and nice . She greeted me with a smile and answered all my questions.
Great service, Timberly was super friendly and explained everything super well and was informative.
Place stinks of trash and the elevator has been down for 2.5 weeks no sign of getting that fixed. Lots of cockroaches everywhere . It’s gross
