Ormsby’s is a fun dive bar for a large group. There are tons of games you can play with a group - bocce, darts and pool. The drinks prices here are also very affordable.
The establishment itself is entertaining, with lots of character, but several of the guests were quite rude -- lying and bullying us to force us to leave the games we were playing. The neighborhood is fun -- very trendy and hip.
Great little shopping/ eating center in the west midtown area. It's got a very uptrend vibe with cool spots to eat, drink, and shop. Parking in the garage is available, but it does fill up later on in the evening. It's relatively cheap for the area that it's located in. This is a perfect spot from a hangout with friends to an intimate date night with your s/o. Definitely a worthwhile place to check out!
It’s alright. Just as meh as all the multi-game bars.Either empty or too many people.Draft selection is okay. They were out of basically all red wine.Appetizers were small and couldn’t taste much.Dinner options were limited…they were out of like 4 things and it wasn’t even 5PM yet.I will say whatever Brussels sprouts they served with the steak WAS killer. Beat out the steak by a mile.P.S. Most people don’t know how that sharing is literally like part of why the games exist. Basically nobody knows how to rack for their group to continue to play, so they’ll get mad when you point out nobody put money up for the pool table and they can’t play forever just cause they’re out with their buddies?
This is a really cool speakeasy type spot in West Midtown. They have various types of games like pool and shuffleboard. This time we opted to sit outside on their new patio. the service was great and the food was great as well
I had a pretty good experience here as we had some drinks as it was really busy at the bar but the service was fast and helpful! We enjoyed a few games while we enjoyed the night drinking with friends! I’d definitely come back here again as it looks like they have pretty good food but we just came here for the drinks this time around! Highly recommend it if you’re in the area for a good night of drinks!
Great place. Not cheap but not expensive.Games are fun.Staff is average friendliness during peak bar hours.Still my favorite casual bar to drink at on a Friday night.
Visited this place a few weeks ago because it was kind of late and we wanted a good burger. I had no idea that they had a formal dining area upstairs (away from all the games). We weren't in the mood for the bar vibe that they have downstairs so I was relieved that they had the upstairs area. My bf had a burger (which was really tasty) but the fries were noticebly overcooked (normally, I wouldnt even mention it but they were really hard). I had some brussel sprouts because I had already eaten and they were quite tasty (a little spicy which was unique with some thick cut bacon). The waitress was friendly and the drink prices were descent. If I'm ever looking for some good bar food again late at night, I will definitely come back to Ormsbys. Great games the basement is so much fun! The cocktails and beer selection are great. Food is alright tbh and both times I’ve eaten there it’s taken a while.
Amazing place to hangout with friends in the evening playing games and having few drinks. A varied lot of beer menu and lot of options to choose - from amber to dark IPAs, you name it. Free games to play and loved the ambience and the place in total. We ended up hanging around almost 4 hours at this place playing darts, pool table, and few other games. Crowd is super nice too. Great place for a group activity and fun
