However the sushi and sashimi quality was exceptionally good. The prices are quite high too (justifiably, in my opinion). The other dishes were just about fine.Ordered one drink, which was pretty decent — not great, but not bad either.The service was good and prompt. They were not busy at the time. Difficult to say whether it would be as good when they’re busy.
Extremely happy with this “airport food”. Cauliflower soup and Poke Tacos were great apps. The burger and the dirty south sandwich were both excellent.
This place was phenomenal for any restaurant ….even more impressive as an airport restaurant. The sushi, poke app, salmon, drinks - all phenomenal. Highly recommend if you have some time at Jackson International
A meal Worth extending your layover for! One Flew South blew me away. I can't believe you can get food this good at the airport. The curried cauliflower soup with crispy chickpeas was layered with flavor. The salmon was perfectly cooked and well seasoned, and the bourbon cranberry roasted potatoes provided a delightful sweet and savory balance. 10/10 definitely recommend if you're in the Atlanta airport!
I got the Asian Noodle salad and I can’t recommend it enough. Please take it with chicken. The seasoning they put on the chicken makes it a perfect marriage of flavours. You will enjoy it and also feel great at the end. A light salad with enough proteins. Super friendly staff. It is so rare to have a good meal at an airport. I will stop every time I go to this airport.
In the airport, waiting on a flight, hungry, and One Flew South caught our eye. A peaceful way to enjoy lunch. The wait staff was friendly and exchanged witty repartee making our experience that much better! I had the poke tacos with raw tuna appetizer, and it was the perfect size for a light meal, tons of flavor and super-crunchy taco shells. A great way to begin our trip!
This place exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed the food, sake, and drink options. We had the old fashion, two types of sake and I had the tempranillo wine - all great. We ate the kamikaze and dragon rolls, the poke tacos and the BLT.The service that John gave us and, I believe, the Manager, Aaron, who was seating people, was excellent. Overall a great experience. I highly recommend this stop if you have some time to kill.
Good good but pandemic really impacted this restaurant. Service slow and impersonal. Very limited menu. No edamame! But maybe that’s a supply chain issue?? Zero flexibility in changing up selections.
Just a short train ride from the disappointing food choice of the international terminal. Tried the new BLT sandwich (bacon jam, pickled green tomatoes, lettuce...) with fries - proved to be a great take on the BLT (fries were good as well). Service was excellent and relaxed atmosphere, although had to wait for a short time - very much worth it.
