As someone who frequently dines alone, I'm always looking for new places to explore. When I found Nuevo Laredo Cantina a while back, I never did a review. After this visit, I decided to.Call me crazy, but a lot of times, I will decide if I'm going back to a Mexican restaurant based on a few things, the salsa, guacamole, and the drinks! So let's talk about those!!The salsa is delicious!! It has the right amount of chunky ingredients and spice meshed together to create awesome flavors. The chips were hot and fresh. You can't go wrong here.The guacamole isn't my favorite, and I forgot about it this time. I ordered it and remembered why when I saw it come out. I've had better elsewhere. It has a nice creamy texture, but lacks the flavors I'm used to.The drinks. Well, they got 10 stars, highly recommend!! I've not had one yet that disappointed!!The food is great as well. This time I had the Enchiladas De Camaron. It's a shrimp enchiladas topped with espanola sauce and Monterey Jack cheese with Mexican rice & beans. I never really like the beans, but theirs are good. I could have used a bit more spiciness in the sauce, but I understand why it really can't be all that spicy.Overall, you can't really go wrong here. The prompt, friendly, accurate service plus the great food and drinks make Nuevo Laredo Cantina a great choice for any occasion!!

Same menu great atmosphere and walls filled with all sorts of things to look through. Authentic TexMex. they do the simple things like beans and salsa right.
This place is awesome, the service, food, and selection of cocktails are all outstanding! The restaurant is clean and inviting, and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. And as an added bonus, there’s plenty of free parking… I had delicious organic margaritas with freshly squeezed lime juice, and I told our server I was very hungry, and not a vegetarian, and asked her to surprise me and choose my entrée for me. I was NOT disappointed!!! I was served the best combination chicken, shrimp, and steak fajitas I can remember having… Everything was fresh and piping hot. Even though I was hungry, there was still enough food left over, to make lunch the next day. I would highly recommend Nuevo Laredo Cantina to anyone looking for delicious Mexican food, in a casual dining environment, with an impressive list of tequilas!
Great place to go for a late night dinner. Friendly staff that didn't rush us even though it was past closing. The salsa was incredible. I highly recommend the shrimp enchiladas.
Tacos de carne asada a side of spinach con queso is my go-to order here. Really delicious, authentic Tex-Mex. Best in town.
Great local favorite for Mexican food. I’m not an expert on authentic food, but I can attest that the food was hot, tasty and plentiful. Cody dining areas and a small bar. Staff was friendly and attentive. Outdoor patio for the warmer days. Parking across the street is plentiful. Masks required at this time. Come early or you will be waiting for a table.
Stopped by after long intending to go since I've heard that NL is the best in town. The highlights were the salsa and drinks. We had a good experience overall but our favorite remains unchanged!
