I enjoyed the food and the price was reasonable. Know that the sushi/ sashimi lunch specials do not involve much choice. A bulk or all of it will be the chefs decision, which was fine for meIt gets pretty crowded around lunch time. They seemed in a hurry to get rid of us, even though there were several available tables. The server brought us the check, unrequested, and waited for us to take out our payment. After we paid our bill, we were never checked on again.

This restaurant was down the street from our hotel and it was a great find. We ordered a lycee martini, which was excellent and our little one had a Japanese soda that she thoroughly enjoyed! The spicy tuna salad was REALLY spicy, but so good. The salmon skin hand roll was incredible and everything we ate was delicious. We came in a little late, about 45 minutes until closing, but they made us feel welcome and never rushed us - a wonderful meal!

Everything here from the food, drinks and the service is exceptional. Any special requests I’ve made have been done without issue. This is now my go to sushi restaurant in Atlanta.

Out of the 4 things we ordered and the service, only one roll was good. Everything else was mediocre to plain bad. Crab Rangoon's dough was stiff, as if they were fried days ago and reheated. Beauty and Beast roll was good. Crispy Salmon roll was mediocre. Tempura Cheesecake was frozen inside, not crunchy outside and creamy inside, you could barely cut it with the spoon. Service was average, the waitress was not attentive at all. Will not come back.

I thought the order was a mistake- turns out I got the right rolls after all…This started with the ordering experience. There is no description of the rolls on the door dash menu- so I went off what I thought were normal rolls I get all the time from other sushi places. I’ve never seen an Alaska roll with two different kinds of fish in it… nor one that didn’t have Avacado…the salmon skin roll and spider roll looked exactly the same- not tasty. After sending a pic to the place- they told me that they are correct rolls- but that the package must have been mishandled… I’ve never seen a sushi roll fall completely apart, and lack the rice packing altogether do to a driver mishandling. That’s a new one. Clearly the rolls were just thrown in the package and were made with haste. But the customer service person did not want to hear this. He said next time I should go somewhere else:) ok. I will. And I hope others read this and choose somewhere else as well.

My sister and l always love the sushi here! The sushi is beyond amazing with so much flavor in every bite. I can't find any other sushi place that makes it this good! And we also love the fried rice and lo mein here as well. With every dish you get the authentic taste. It's my favorite sushi bar by far!

Stop here for layover from the airport took 20min by train some recommended the area for food Got there around 2pm.most resturants were closed in the area this was open Tried a few things not the best the highlight was the photo of the lady lol

The food was over all mid (I’m a bit picky) and the restaurant was a medium setting as well. There was a robot serving food which was pretty cool, we didn’t get the opportunity to be served though. Overall medium experience, but then again, I don’t eat much when I’m out with a large group. I might come here again to try, but the giant bar kind of ruined the classy/ cleanliness vibe.

Nova Sushi is now my FAVE restaurant for sushi (and Green Tea Ice Cream)! The Spicy Tuna Roll was the best I have ever tasted. Simple and bursting with fresh tuna flavor with subtle other flavors like enhanced heaven. The Sushi Big Mac knocked flavor town out of the park. I also recommend the Hot Lady Roll. The topping of white tuna melted in my mouth. Finishing with the green tea ice cream made our night. I suggested to the manager that they switch from Hershey’s chocolate to one which matches the very high level of taste of their fare, such as Ghirardelli’s or Torani’s chocolate sauce. My girlfriend and I will be back soon!!! Also, the waitress, Mary, was very friendly and attentive.

We were in town for a surgical procedure the next day and I wanted a last meal that would tantalize my taste buds before going under the knife. I was not disappointed. The upscale Buckhead neighborhood had many choices of high end establishments and I spent some time looking at menus and checking reviews on-line. I was particularly interested in finding an Asian restaurant since it’s been awhile since I’d had any high end sashimi or sushi. We were very pleased to see the obvious attention to social distancing built into the table lay out and the fact that all the wait staff was wearing masks. We started with hot saki and three pieces of sashimi tuna and three sashimi pieces of octopus tentacles. The tuna smelled fresh, was a deep red color, flavorful, cut with a fork, and melted in your mouth. The octopus was a bit rubbery, almost tasteless and in hindsight we should have decided on another option. Additional appetizers included Thai Calamari delicately battered, fried and toasted and a six piece serving of delicious fried Gyoza chicken dumplings. All the appetizers were served with bird’s nest type noodles or other interesting dried noodles, salad vegetables, along with savory somewhat spicy sauces. Moving on to our main meal we shifted to glasses of a perfectly acceptable house red wine and opted for their Maki Combo ($22) which consisted of any three rolls from their extensive “regular” sushi menu. We selected a salmon roll, spicy tuna roll, and avocado caterpillar roll. All three rolls were chocked full of their designated contents with only a thin layer of white rice surrounding the primary food items. So many restaurants tuck a small center core of goodness wrapped by thick layers of rice. Definitely not Nova Sushi. We watched other tables receive wooden platters of the more expensive custom rolls and they were generally of even greater diameter and contained giant portions of inside items. We were stuffed at this point but chose to indulge our desire for desert by having a second order of sashimi tuna. Fantastic flavor. About half way through our meal a group of 10 young people of mixed ethnic backgrounds came in and settled into a large table quickly created by staff by sliding four single tables together. It was a pleasure to see so many young people enthusiastically and politely enjoying their restaurant experience and teaching each other the fine points of chop stick use. It did our hearts good to see the proof of the multicultural city that is Atlanta. We had a wonderful dining experience.
