Went on a Saturday night and it was not crowded. My food was so good. I got the gulf fish and shrimp po boy. The fish and shrimp were fried perfectly. The bread was soft and crunchy. It was perfect. I would order it again. I will return. I also order the bread pudding, darn it was so good. The restaurant was different then the New Orleans location, but I still loved it.The service was pretty good, but the bartender over did it on my drink. It tasted like it did not have alcohol in it so I sent it back to the bar. The bartender fixed my drink by over pouring vodka in it. My drink was really strong.

First at this restaurant. The food was good. Service was good as well. I was just annoyed by the DJ playing the music so loud. It really killed the vibe for me. I will probably visit again, but I need to know the days that the DJ is not working.

My first visit based off a referral after inquiring where I could get some good Oysters from.I didn’t think they were open on Wednesday’s due to their Instagram and google information. My friend shared that the hours had not been updated. Their normal hours state that they open at 4. When I arrived at 4:30 I was informed they would open at 5:30. Then the guy was corrected at said 6:00. So I waited at the Black Coffee shop next door. When I came back at 6 they stated they would open shortly. It was about 6:10 or so when they opened the doors. It had a nice Nawlins feel on the inside with plenty of seating. I sat at the bar. When I was given the menu it was explained that it was the only menu available on Wednesday as it is their Happy Hour. I was a bit disappointed because I really wanted to try the gumbo and crab claws from their menu but I just ordered the oysters and Cajun catfish and fries and their red blend. The bartender explained they were out of all of their reds so he offered me the Prosecco which was cool. I just really wanted a red from the menu provided. The oysters arrived maybe 25 minutes later but they were in fact worth the wait thus the reason for the 4 rating. The catfish and fries were good and fresh as well.Overall I will try them again on a different day. I am hopeful they will have more consistent operating hours and a diverse and available menu next time.

Hands Down Best Seafood in Atlanta! Service & Atmosphere beyond your expectations! Ty is the best server ever I have been about 5 times now and they have never failed me! And the Oyster guy with the lil twist got a butter sauce make you wanna slap yo mama “ COME HERE MAMA”Music Vibes Meets Every Part of Our Culture!!!It feels good to leave full and Happy I’ll definitely be back weekly !!!

Where to begin.....OK. I knew after the first 15 min waiting for our table, that we should head back to the car. The place was clean & nice, awesome vibe. Dj playing Mary J, New Edition, Luther ....& that was red flag ? one. They were playing these awesome artists original tracks. If you know N.O. like I know, babbbby, there's a bounce in EVERY SONG! From the oldest to the newest, to the fastest to the slowest bounce bounce bounce. We had None of that our entire stay. Oh, & we had rooftop reservations, but no rooftop ??. Once we sat, our waitress took our order 4 times. Red flag ? 2! Like baby get a pen & pad nobody gon judge you! Smh. The first two times , she just kept forgetting. The third time she came back & told me they had no seafood bags...?. So I said seafood gumbo & the oysters instead. ?The fourth time was to inform hubby, there were no seafood platter. ?. So he got stuffed salmon instead w/ Mac & jambalaya for the sides, & voodoo rolls. I was concern & suspicious. As a N.O. native, an easier question is What YOU don't put seafood in vs what you put it in? Sooooo, I wonder what's in my bowl of gumbo? I asked when she delivered my slushy of unsweetened tea....my bad, long Island. ?. What's in the gumbo? She said sausage, shrimps, crawfish tails, okra'...I was like cool. Redemption maybe? Omg! When that hobbit plate of gumbo came out, I was like aaarrggg, (in Scooby-Doo voice) ????. Yall that wasn't a bowl or a cup. It was an inch in height and fit in the palm of my hands. What in the wanna be Ramsey is this? I had TWO sausages and rice....THAT WAS IT! I told her to take that back immediately, you bold & full of it to bring that mess to someone table. ?. Time to go! Hubby insisted we stay. To wrap it up. They bought out his salmon with seafood pasta, NO SIDES! ? & I'm sure that was the wrong order?. The pasta was undercooked ?& nobody can tell me different those voodoo rolls were brought from Walmart & they were mini egg rolls!! ?w/ No meat again ? the tables next to us told us to leave, nothing was worth it as they searched for another spot. It was only 730pm & the place was not packed. My hubby fish was so fishy the smell ruined his appetite. ?. Like this ain't wildcaught or fisherman's warf, whyyyy, is it soooI fishy? I made him take it all home anyways, because you gonna eat it & love it. I told him, we should GO! But you were so hungry, & now you still hungry. My oysters was so shriveled & rubbery...omg ?. This was the worst. Nothing about this place was New Orleans. Atl please stop it! Stick to what you kn ow. Obviously this place is making money based on courtesy alone & hopes. & due to that, is why my hubby Benz smells like fish now??‍♀️

0/10 Would NOT recommendIf you’re like me and read reviews before trying out a new restaurant then here’s the answer to your question, don’t do it. DO NOT come here. Unless you enjoy waiting 2 hours for lukewarm food, terrible drinks, zero to no service and a rude manager.. then by all means. But I promise you, trust the other reviews, save yourself the trip and find another place to try..I didn’t read the reviews because I came to this restaurant for my best friend’s 35th birthday with hopes that she would enjoy herself and at the very least, her food. Especially since her husband went out of his way to prepay and preorder all of our meals. How did everything turn into a disaster.. we were seated in the cold with no outdoor heating, food took HOURS to arrive, drinks were distasteful and we could barely find our server. The owner lied about addressing this issue and lied about the number in our party to justify the poor service and food quality when she was given advanced notice. She’s extremely unprofessional. This was a dreadful restaurant experience. If you’re looking to waste your money on poor quality service and food then this is the place to go.I’m sure if the food came out hot then it might’ve tasted better. Too bad I’ll never know because I do NOT plan to come back nor do I plan to recommend this place to any of my friends or family.

Sunday DJ EricJaye and oysters are the only good thing about this location. I had previously come in February and thought I would recommend to a friend from LA....wrong!Bow wow tasted like cough syrup (add more real fruit juice). Asked for beers instead. Never got beers.??‍♀️ Asked for refund. No refund on alcohol. Asked for beers again. Out of requested beer!Gnats flying everywhere! Like keep one hand moving so they don't land type situation.Ordered yakemi but they were out.Asked if wings could be lemon pepper. They brought out hot wings with lemon pepper on them...twice! Sent back and cook/mgr/someone said the girl ordered them wrong and she would make right....never received those.Greens were cracker barrel flavored but salty.Red beans and rice soupy. You need a spoon to eat.Waitress overworked with too many tables and overwhelmed.Never got the oysters though ordered as soon as we sat down. Asked if we could finally get oysters instead of whack drink but 'mgr' ignored us. Why couldn't we get the only good thing there??Mad I referred this restaurant heavily since February and it sucked. If you go, sit at bar or by DJ and only order oysters. ?

Our first time at the Atlanta location. We went on a Saturday afternoon so it wasn’t crowded and we were seated immediately. The DJ was very good with the music and the ambiance was dark but nice. The food was excellent , well spiced and served at good temperature. The only reason they got a 4 star from me is that they were out of ingredients to make some of there common food like shrimp creole. That’s on the manager. We look forward to returning soon.

I had a great time I especially enjoyed Victoria and Ruby. The most AWESOME waitresses ever!!!! I will def be back. The oysters were amazing and the crawfish… BOMB. I have found me new spot

Updated 1/19/22Okay! So I went back to this place because like I said before the food was great! I also normally give businesses a second chance to redeem themselves.I went during brunch and the brunch menu was limited. I really wanted crab legs, shrimp and oysters. They obliged me and gave me the oysters. Which were very delightful!!! I could go, sit and eat on the oysters all day! They are $28.99 and worth every penny! For brunch I went with the shrimp and grits. The roux for the shrimp and grits was one of the best I’ve had in the Atlanta area. My grits however is where I had the issue. They had clumps in them. I also got the praline waffle and the praline sauce is very delicious! While eating, a young man approached us and asked how are meal was. Told him and told him about my last experience. As a courtesy he sent out beignets. They were very thick and you definitely need a hot beverage with them.I would later find out he was the owner. I definitely recommend them, but because they are new give them some time to workout the kinks.**********************************************There was an article posted in the AJC about their opening a few months back. Someone in my social groups sent it to me. I was excited to try this place!I hadn’t made it out there, but Friday saw an IG posting with their oysters and crab legs and decided I was going!Made a reservation for 12:30pm. Got there and they couldn’t find it, but no biggie because there weren’t a lot of ppl there. When I was being taken to my seat, it looked as if there was some huge spill of some sort, but as she took me around to my seat it was clear they were having some sort of plumbing issue.Got seated and ordered the char grilled oysters, which only has Market Price next to it, and the seafood platter. The waitress asked what two sides I wanted, but when I got the plate it had fries instead of red beans and rice.Oysters were delicious!! Definitely tasted like the ones I had in New Orleans this summer. Highly recommend! The market price for them was $28 for a dozen. Not bad.Seafood platter, I ate the fries oysters and were about to start eating my shrimp when a wave of funk hit my nostrils!! That plumbing problem was backing up into the bar area. The funk died down and then as I’m eating my fries, a wave of ????? just comes into the establishment!!It was gross! I could not enjoy my meal and asked for my check. I get the check and there’s a 15% service charge on it. I asked the the waiter what the charge was for and she tells me it’s for Covid and the extra measures they have to take to clean. What? She then mentions it’s somewhere on the menu.So a restaurant, that currently smelled like a bathroom after eating red beans and rice is charging me because you have to take extra measures to clean? Make it make sense!I wanted to support this establishment, but it appears I may have to settle for some other establishments because this was not it. The food, that I could enjoy, was delicious, but the smell was horrendous! Smh!
